A user on Reddit allowed me to post these pictures of her Grandmother in hopes to find the exact bag. These pictures are from 1988/1989.

Can anyone help identify this leather drawstring bucket bag? Looks like there’s a vertical zipper.

Coach/Dooney & Bourke/LV noe have been suggested.

Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone! I found this vintage handbag and I'm trying to identify the brand and get an estimate of its value.

First bag:
Material: Seems to be genuine leather (soft, smells like leather, it is slightly wrinkled, absorbs water)

Pattern: Floral tapestry-style print

Color: Dark brown with green, blue, and pink floral elements

Lining: Light beige fabric inside

Details: No visible branding or label—possibly worn off due to age

Condition: Gently used, zipper and strap intact

Second bag:

Material: Seems to be genuine leather (soft, smells like leather, it is slightly wrinkled, absorbs water)

Color: Dusty pink with an abstract dotted pattern (blue, purple, and pink dots)

Lining: Light beige fabric inside

Strap: Brown leather, detachable on one side

Details: No visible brand or label

Condition: Gently used, zipper and strap in good condition

Any guesses about the brand or its potential value would be amazing. I can provide more photos or close-ups if needed. Thanks!

Hi! I’ve recently got from my mum this purse, but I am not sure of the brand.
It was in furla dust bag and as far as I know my mum, it had been kept for years in there. Someone could help me to find out if it could be furla? 🤷‍♀️💥

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone here can help me identify this bag. It’s definitely by Anya Hindmarch — the logo on the front says “London Anya Hindmarch” — and it features a vibrant red fish on an orange background with red patent leather handles.

I haven’t been able to find any listings or collection info about this particular design. Does anyone know the name of the collection, year, or any background details on this piece?

Here’s a clear photo of the bag:

Thanks in advance for any info you can share!

Is the material canvas? She had a collection of animal-themed totes back in the aughts and also did custom-printed ones with customers’ own photos. I think it was called Be a Bag. I had one (not custom) that had a sheep.

Hey all, I found this purse at a thrift store a while back and am looking to identify it! It doesn't have any labels or tags and it didn't have any handles when I purchased it... I've tried using AI to identify it, but it comes up with nothing.

Please help! I found this bag at the thrift store, but have been trying for three weeks to find information on the logo. I have narrowed it down to a italian leather luxury bag, and the hardware is "AVIV" which was used in handbags back in the day. I can't find out anything on this neat L label, so I thought I would bring it to the experts. Any ideas? A MILLIoN thank yous! -Tracey

I think there's a letter T behind the letter L.

Tuscany Leather is a brand that has those initials so it might be worth contacting them to see if they can assist? It my be an older item of theirs. I couldn't see how long the company has been trading but it seems to have been for quite a while.

Hi everyone,

I have tried to research this purse’s material, designer and time period, but have hit a wall.”

I’d love some help identifying this vintage suede handbag, possibly from the 1950s. Its labeled “Gold Star” and “Made in Switzerland.”

Here are the details:

• Material: Suede (not leather)

• Color: (e.g. black or dark brown)

• Hardware: Gold-tone clasp/chain – vintage style

• Age guess: Mid-20th century (around 1950s)

• Label/markings: “Gold Star” and “Made in Switzerland” inside (see pic.)

• Condition: (a bit discoloured on one side)

I’ve attached several close-up photos showing the clasp, foring label and stitching. I’d be super grateful for any insight regarding:

• Possible brand (could it be Swiss-only or ?

• Era — does the hardware or suede style match 1950s?

• Any collectors’ resources or similar listings you’ve seen?

Thanks so much! 😊image.webpimage.webpimage.webp
