Hi. I was gifted a pre-owned Elliot Lucca. It looks old but in good condition, and it is a useful size for me. I would like to find out the year it was made and what it was called. Searching through ads online hasn't found me any exact matches yet. The tag inside says -
Made in China
Body: 100% Leather
Lining: 100% Polyester
PO-13315-CV
1000047100

So far, a lot of searching has found two similar items for sale online, Elliott Lucca "vintage cream large hobo".

One was very close on shape and seems only to lack the brass studs which mine has.

I can believe mine is "vintage" the leather seems old enough.

I recently bought this bag in a Japan Consignment store, but I haven’t found any firm details on the style name or when it was made.
Does anyone know?

What I have confirmed is that it’s is Hermes’ ‘linen’ material in ‘chevron’ pattern.

There is no date code or serial marking that I could find, and I’m assuming maybe these linen bags never received that sort of detail.

Some web searches will say Toile fabric, ‘Cavalier sling’ or ‘Sellier sling’. Does it have a design name?

Any firm details would be helpful to get better acquainted with them.

I found a match on ebay. It is called "Hermes ivory cavalier one shoulder bag 174137". I do not know how to include a link, or if links are even welcome here. Ebay says it is authenticated and sells for 918us plus shipping.

Is it usual for the tags of Hermes bags to say "made in France" in english instead of "fabrique en France" in french?
