Hello all, a bit different of an ask but still relevant I think, what shade of red would you all say is the closest to a true scarlet? I have a really fun idea in mind but I just can't figure it out...(attached is pantone Scarlet)

Hi! The closest colours from Hermès for maroquinerie would be Rouge de Coeur and Rouge Tomate. For regular leathers, something in Epsom or Chèvre (available for both colours) would get you closest to this specific shade. For exotics, Rouge de Coeur is the only real option I can think of, and it was available for Ostrich (Boréale), Croc Lissé, and Gator Lissé.:flowers:

Hi!

Could anyone help me identify this kind of leather?

I have been thinking on Togo (but the grain is really small). However, I think it doesn’t feel as soft as Evercolor… Well, the leather layer inside feels softer than the exterior leather…

Thanks 🌹!

The color is exactly the same in spite of the pics.

Hi! Steve Light bag, right? These came in Togo and Evercolor. Yours looks like it could be Evercolor. If you purchased it from an online seller, I would note that many sellers misidentify the leather for this bag. If you could provide a picture showing the interior heat stamp as well as the surrounding leather, this could also help to confirm the leather. :flowers:

Thank you very much!

I was more inclined to Evercolor. However, the exterior leather is more sturdy to the touch. I never saw this bag in Evercolor at boutique to check if it was stiffer than the leather on the inside.

Togo, even though I have one Kelly bag with very small grain, is not this time.

Sure! The pics.

Very welcome! :flowers: And my apologies, I should’ve been more clear— by “heat stamp”, I meant the foiled stamp that says “Hermès Paris Made In France”. It should be inside the bag at the top of the gusset divider.

Hello everyone!

I’ve been wanting a Birkin 40/HAC 40 for a while but feel like they’re a bit too formal for regular use given my lifestyle.

I’ve just come across this bag and I think I’m a little bit in love.

Can anyone help ID this please? Is it the same wollycot material that’s used for the Kelly dépêches? I love the tri-colour band on it as well!

Asking for help to identify the color of my own bag! 🙈 so here’s a list of the facts.
- SA texts and says the offer is for Gris Perle
- offer was made by someone else at the boutique as my SA was out
- receipt says Gris Pale
- looks like Gris Perle to me but 👀

So, experts, what color is my bag?

Hi! If the receipt says it’s Gris Pâle, then it is likely Gris Pâle. The receipt is based on the actual barcode/product code of the item.;)

Note: If you do still have doubts about the colour and want one of us to double check, it would be very helpful if you provided better pictures. Unfortunately, the current pictures are not sufficient for determining the colour, as they are too small to show any relevant details of the bag and the lighting is very different in each picture. Clear pictures of the entire front of the bag, internal and external stitching, lining, and internal zipper pocket would be the most helpful for determining the colour. Pictures should be taken in natural lighting without flash. Also, knowing the production year would be helpful too! :flowers:

Hi Everyone! Relatively new to Hermes bags here  This is my first pre-loved Hermes purchase, and I just couldn't resist it as I love the shape, practicality and understatedness of the So Kelly 22. I was wondering if anyone on here could possibly shed some light on the colour and leather of this bag? I love this purple and it pains me not to know the exact shade. did some research and I think it may be Iris or Ultraviolet. Thank you in advance to the lovely and knowledgeable members!!!!!!

Hi there! This So Kelly is Iris Togo. Congrats on your purchase! :flowers:

Note: Your bag (which was made for the AW season of 2010) predates the introduction of Ultraviolet. ;)

Hi Pol, just to confirm, this messenger bag is in Evercolor. This bag is one of the best for men : elegant & practical at the same time.
Be careful with the end of the strap that close the bag however, as it can look "used" if you don't take care of it during daytime
