Could someone please help me identify the leather of this vintage (1999) Birkin? The owner doesn't remember and says it's either Togo or Clemence. The slouch looks a bit like Clemence, but the stamp color is dark brown/black. Did the bags made of Clemence ever get stamped like this? Or is it something different? The bag weights approx. 1.3 kg so quite heavy.Screenshot_2024-11-05-19-51-41-358_com.kouzoh.mercari.png

This is an example of Étrusque Clémence. ;)

My new to me GP30 in pink - I am assuming bubblegum as I could not find any other pink that was released circa 2012. If anyone knows, do tell! The most perfect pink, still cannot believe she's mine 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Many congrats on the new bag! It cannot be Rose Sakura or Rose Confetti as others have mentioned, neither of which existed during the production year of your bag (2012). As you guessed, the colour is indeed 5P - Pink and the leather is likely Buffalo Sindhu! Rare and beautiful combination.:flowers:

I just bought this bag on Ebay (so excited!); the posting simply identified it as brown Clemence leather. The date stamp is 2009. I'm wondering if any one can say with more certainty what the color is. 1731097473049.png
