Hi, I bought this Hermes Birkin 35 in ardennes leather second hand. The seller indicated it as blue. Is this blue sapphire or bleu roi? I have seen pictures of similar bags online, some is listed as blue sapphire some is listed as bleu roi (I assume it is same as blue roy). Two colors look very similar. Thank you!
Hi! Would you mind providing two more pictures: one showing the stitching up close and a second showing the interior lining (would be even better if the lining picture showed the zipper/zipper fabric as well). Thank you.

Hi, @r-luvs-h, thank you.

Here you go! The interior leather is of different type and the color is more muted. I know this is said many times, colors are just so interesting, they appear different on different leather different light condition.

Thank you for the extra pictures! In my view, this bag is Bleu Saphir. :flowers:

Bleu Roi/Bleu Royal should have reddish/purple undertones which should be especially visible when looking at the lining of the bag. By the way, the lining is Chèvre Marocain leather.;)

Hi All,

I was wondering if any of you can help ID this vintage bag from 2006. I have never seen this bag before. It’s beautiful and unique…very on trend for a vintage bag.

I've never seen one of these in this leather x colour combination, but the bag was just called Sac de Paris. I believe this one is in Naturel Chamonix, though they usually came in Epsom x Agneau combination.

OMG. Your wealth of Hermes knowledge is incredible. I very much appreciate your help. I saw this by chance and thought it was amazing. I will post this in another thread for reference as I didn’t see it there once I have it in my hands.

Can’t wait to see it! All the ones I’ve seen were from 2006, so this is a very rare bag. Great find!;)

IMG_6805.jpegDear All, I am wondering about this leather - Bag from 1998, K35 R. I would be very happy to know the leather type. Those pebbled leathers are a mystery to me.IMG_6806.jpeg

Kindly let me know, if pictures are not sufficient.

Thank you so much in advance!

What color is this? They are just calling it “Gris”. Saying it is a B stamp, 2023

Thanks!
