Hi everyone! First post in the Hermes community

I found this on FP, the price was a steal. It appears to be a small shoulder Herbag, but upon more research, it looks like a modified Herbag clutch? Or does anyone know if the Herbag clutch is also able to be worn this way?

The bag hasn’t arrived yet, so I’m curious about the experts’ thoughts! Thanks!

Welcome to the community! This is a Herbag clutch (I think the official name was Herbag PM clutch or something like that). It is not a Cabas as FP states; that was a slightly different model. The shoulder strap variation must be very rare, because I only remember the TPM size coming with this type of removable strap*.

*It’s not shown in FP’s pictures, but the bag strap has a slit at both ends which the closure sangles pass through in order to help secure the strap in place. To remove the strap, you just need to slide the sangles out from those slits.

Thank you! I had a feeling this was the clutch, I just wasn’t sure. Something seemed off in the pictures, like the strap was struggling to get through both sides and didn’t quite fit lol. That explanation makes a lot more sense.

I was doing google reverse image searches with the strap and nothing was coming up, but once I cropped the strap off that’s when the clutches started appearing. I’m very intrigued now to see what this clutch looks like when it arrives…thank you again

It's a C in a Box. I came across this bag (Kelly 35) as I am looking for a Kelly 32 in Swift in Rouge H.
I have it on my wishlist but my SA wasn't really overly optimistic if this bag was even a possibility this Season or ever... Therefore I thought about going the pre-loved route. Please share you thoughts with me. Should I continue looking for preloved or hold on and wait it out?

Then yes Rouge H Gulliver. In all honesty finding a 32 in Rouge H Swift in production is a long shot. This is a very pretty bag though! Trusted seller I hope

I would absolutely make sure to be on the safe side. But to be honest I don't think I wanna go through with this particular bag as it is a little too loved for my liking. I really love a used and loved vibe, but I like to do it myself, so I guess its more likely that I'll wait for my SA to call or maybe get lucky in Paris.

I thought this was barenia…it had a faint leather smell but it didn’t have a strong intoxicating leather smell I was expecting that I’ve read so much about it and wanted to tap into the wealth of knowledgeable Hermes TPFers! I wonder if it’s truly barenia or if the scent is faint because it’s a c in square/1999. Of course, I’m getting it authenticated by bbbb and am waiting on the results. I honestly am so excited, was hoping to get some sooner gratification if it’s barenia😬. Thank you in advance for your time and sharing your knowledge!!
