Can you show us the heat stamp/foil stamp, the date stamp, and if possible a close-up of the hardware? :flowers:
I'll be sure to send more pics when I receive it next week--while admittedly reckless to purchase without seeing the heat stamp and date stamp, I fell in love with this butterscotch color that I hadn't really seen on too many other bags, plus the beautiful patina. I'll be authenticating with bababebi and the vendor's reputable enough, but I was just dying to know the exact color/leather. I question the "gold box" label given.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can identify the colors of the 2 Mini Kellies in these 2 pictures. Greatly appreciated!!!

Would need better pictures of both to confirm. Bottom one looks like maybe Bleu Zellige or Bleu Hydra Chèvre. The top one is hard to tell— the lighting is off and it’s very hard to make out the leather.

Hello!
I bought this birkin from Japan. I was informed it's Taurillion Clemence in Gris Tourterelle.
I don't believe this is Clemence? The grain looks quite small and smooth to be clemence? I thought perhaps it could be Taurillion Novillo but the internet thinks it was introduced in 2015, though another Singaporean reseller on youtube believes Novillo was around since the 1980s.

Would love to get the community's expertise in identifying this leather please!
The bag is stamped C Square, 1999.

Thank you so much

Natural lighting. The closest to the real colour. It's definitely not Etaupe as I have an etaupe bag to compare. It's much lighter like a pale grey.

I'm curious to know what this is too now! The base in the studio photo (I'm assuming the sellers pic) looks like Clemence. The Clochette looks like Clemence (I was going to ask you if it was definitely the same bag, but I'm guessing you took that picture yourself). The rest of it really doesn't!

The leather is Gulliver. ;)

The clochette is not original to the bag, and I believe the colour of the bag is Gris Tourterelle. I would recommend using a paid service to at least confirm that the bag pictured is indeed the bag you received.

Re: Taurillon Novillo— Perhaps the youtube seller was thinking of Taurillon Clemence?

Thanks so much for this!

Gulliver, how interesting! Just reading up on its characteristics…

I’ve also added some further pics of interesting details:

One of the side panels looks so much like clemence?? It’s by far more textured like this -

And the bottom panel is also quite textured like the clochette!

Tne front panel again with flash

The other side panel which looks closer to the front and back with smaller grains but starting to look bigger in some areas
IMG_3548 copy.png
Back panel with super tiny grain at the top going to a gradually becoming bigger, though compared to my togo the grains are super tiny and flatter textured.

Does Clemence ever appear this irregular in grain size?
