Here is the lining. I have asked for a pic of the zipper. Does this help?

Could it be rouge pivoine?
Thank you for the extra picture! Based on the year (looks like [Q] - 2013), this is most likely Vermillon. If not that, perhaps Geranium, though I cannot recall if Geranium was available for this leather in that year. I doubt it’s Rouge Pivoine since that was released slightly later. Once the seller gets you a picture of the zipper, that should help to confirm.;)

Hi! If you would be able to get a picture of the lining and the zipper of the bag, that would help greatly! Though, I can tell you for a fact that this is not Rouge Tomate.
Here are the photos of the zipper. Now kinda looks like rouge vif. Thoughts?

Brilliant, thank you! Based on the pictures and production year, this bag is Vermillon Togo. The colour is too orange to be Rouge Vif, in my opinion, and I do not recall Rouge Vif being offered in Togo (at least not for Birkin) for the production year of this bag. :flowers:

This bag predates any of my Hermès catalogues, though I did search for it in my Monde d’Hermès and Japanese catalogue collections. I could not find anything about it as far back as the late 1980s. The closure hardware seems very distinctive, but not reminiscent of anything I’ve ever seen before. I will tag a couple people who may know: @perlerare @papertiger @orchids @pursemember.

Hi!! Could you guys please help me with the color on this picotin? It says that it's vert vertigo but seems more like malachite?

TIA!

The colour/lighting in this picture must be off. Any idea on the production year? I saw a Picotin in-store around 2019 or 2020 that looked just like this. I believe it was a Vert Vertigo Clemence + Malachite Matte Gator Picotin Touch.

Hello, does anyone recognize this style? It supposedly circa 1970’s. Thank you!

and at @r luvs h

I think it maybe earlier, although H reissued quite a few 1940s style bags in the 1970s (like the now called '1938' clutch). Names from the 40s or 50s usually followed the names of the hardware.

My grandmother's clutch (below) has a similar clasp, it's late-1940s bag, they lost the Deco cording in the 1950s. And BTW, H had many utility shoulder bags in the '50s (see advert) even though we don't register these more sports type bags from that era. I was given it after she died so I didn't know the name and had to do some research, online the line is sometimes called the 'Arceau' sometimes called the 'Princess', whatever the shape and size, top-handle or shoulder, cording or without. That's as close as I can get and as much as I can tell you.

Thank you both so much! (hopefully it picked up both quotes, I’m a bit out of practice with multi-replies, LOL) Those that remember me know I always went for the lesser known (and train wreck) H bags😆. Thanks again!❤️
