My fiancé just bought me a Sandrine bag for my birthday as well, from the 1970s. It's in crazy good condition but I was wondering how to make the chain a little big longer cause it's so nice to wear it as a crossbag. I saw a lady talk about a gold chain that she got to make it longer. Any idea where to find that or how to make it ?
(For fun, here it is in the hotel room styled with a vintage dress from the sixties hehe)
Mine are almost all vintage. A birkin 30 ebene in cherve leather; sac eugene in black box leather; a neutral HAC 27 ! i love them all!!

The HAC 28 is actually my most recent purchase. Guess the leather is neutral? it is from 2005. Still with the square turn lock!
The ebene B30 is in cherve leather. Silver hardware. Four years younger than the HAC.. was born in 2009. Love them both! Had some difficult time to convince myself to hold two b30... and the HAC solved the issue!
The Kelly sports is epsom leather, bought from an auction held by a reputable consignment store in Japan. A 29-year-old bag from 1993 but in a very good condition. I am not a Kelly girl. The Kelly sports check the Kelly's box!
The Sac Eugenie is the big big brother in the family. It is a 1984 bag in pristine condition. Love it a lot.
and the two youngest babies are Lindy in rouge garance (2011) and picotin 18 in blue agve (2016)!

My Kelly 32 Rouge H from 1963
It had been dyed unprofessionally along the way, so i could not send it to the Hermes spa.
Handles completely renewed and dyed back to it's original colour.
I think they did a great job.
