Photos of your less than perfect vintage Hermès and share experiences

She is vintage but absolutely perfect: my 1980 Ardennes Marron Fonce (I thought it was Ebene for a while, then Havane, but Paris just definitively declared this Marron Fonce). She's just been freshly spa-ed and had her hardware replaced to butterfly clasps, so that I can wear her shoulder style! As you can see, she's held up great for all her years, and spa has made her nearly new again!

Oh what a lovely bag, she is truly amazing for her age! Do you have pictures of before she went to the SPA by any chance? Do you remember how long did it take for the bag to come back?

I have a birkin Ardennes which I want to send for spa because the corners need some touch ups and the glazings/resin also. I am happy to see that they do work on Ardennes leather even if it’s discontinued. I am planning to go to the H store to give her a SPA, I hope she will turn out like yours!

Here’s my Christine bag from the late ‘90s/early 2000s (or as the Hermès spa refers to it, SAC CHRISTINE II TOUAREG VACHE FJORD.) I’m pleased with how they were able to fix her up.

Yes fair enough, because returns are such a pain. I did see one on Vestiaire awhile ago but I think it got sold.

I’ve always loved the Sandrine bag, think Les Demoiselles de Rochefort and all that !
I was lucky to find one in Miel Crocodile and so far it’s been a case of admiring it rather than using it .
I’d love to see more Action shots of the bags on this thread as well as the stills , so hereby promising to post some ways I’m wearing my Sandrine over the next few weeks now that Spring is here

I think it would look fabulous worn with a pair of cream linen pants white shirt and and tan loafers with a small scarf tied round the neck.

It’s gorgeous @frou frou!! I can’t wait to see how you style it; I say go with a frock or a shirtwaist dress. I’m getting a ‘breezy’ sleeveless vibe but I could be way off base….
