Here’s my vintage Rouge H Kelly out for lunch on Christmas Eve. She’s 42years old and has seen better days but I love her.
apologies for the messy ‘Twilly” the handle really needs replacing so this is my ‘make do and mend’ as I’d prefer to put that money towards another vintage bag. I tend to agree that Rouge H these days to my eyes just isn't as magical.

Reposting my 1977 C23 in Rouge Hermes Box, which came along with me on errands in the New Year. When it came to me quite a while back, all I had to do was send the bag to Hermes to have the plastic plate on the clasp replaced as it was cracked. The artisan really admired it and although the leather is a little dry I think the bag has really lived and been loved. It had a faint perfume scent which has since faded.

Sorry.. the seller told me it was a vintage one ..
I could be wrong, but I have a feeling 20 years plus is considered vintage. No need to apologise!
It’s just funny to hear, when as an older person (50 now eek!) that my children are now vintage and I think I may be an antique  Either way, it’s a lovely bag!
