Question for those with the vintage box bags: would you bring her to the spa despite not wearing her often? I'm asking because I have a BBK32 produced in 2010 (I'm the original owner) and have never brought her in for spa service as she gets worn very rarely. Apart from very fine lines which feel slightly dry (has been like this since the beginning) the leather feels perfectly fine.

Edited to add pics. It's the area below the flap. It caves in, so the leather is permanently creasing and showing fine lines that feel rough to the touch (first 2 pics) while it looks and feels smooth and soft when pushed out (pic3).

A pair of skilled cobblers on YouTube, Trenton and Heath, consider that even new shoes should be conditioned because you have no idea how long the hides would have been waiting to be used, or how long the shoes might have been in stock before being sold. The idea is that, because leather is a natural product, it is always loosing some of its natural moisture, so leather should be regularly conditioned to maintain it. It is important to know what conditioner is appropriate to use and appreciate that a little is best.

Thank you! I have to call the local H store to see of they accept bags for spa now (Germany is operating on click and collect now and from what I've heard H is overbooked with appointments).

I agree with @WhiteBus! Definitely look into conditioning your leather. You'd be amazed at how much a difference it makes (even if you haven't noticed much issue). There are some great threads here on how to do so and what to use.

I went to the H store yesterday and gave them 3 of my bags for cleaning, conditioning and corner painting, including my box Kelly. Was surprised how quickly I was able to get an appointment. I'm sad to part with them for a potentially long time, but I'm sure they will come out looking great. I won't do anything on them myself because it risks H refusing to work on them later on. I did condition a vintage Barenia Evelyne with Saphire greasy leather cream that docride recommended, but it still looks very dry so I might also submit it for a spa treatment later.

Don't worry about the time away from your bags. I brought mine in sometime in Nov. 2020( NYC) and it was returned in 4 weeks! Less people coming in and asking for spa in general I assume.
Originally, I brought it in in Jan 2020, was told hold on to it as "We are backed up, bring it in in May, you will get it back at the same time as if you had brought it in Jan." Then COVID, etc. I called when they re-opened in July, and Pierre told me he remembered my bag, wanted to work on it, and to bring it in Oct/Nov., as they would be caught up ( due to the closing) and the timing would be good. I did and VOILA!! 4 weeks, looks great and I'm thrilled.
So hopefully, you will have a similar experience and get your beautiful bags back ASAP

Sac Eugenie in beige lizzard from the 70‘s. ❤ Can be worn as a clutch or with a shoulder strap at different lengths. She holds more than she is showing and has butter soft leather inside. I really love her:

Vintage? Wanna talk vintage? 1952 Box calf 28 and not a loose stitch or a stain. She will celebrate 70 soon. As an Hermès artisan said to me, "this is a Kelly from before there was a Kelly!" Here with my other gold bags and on her own  I found her on an auction site and thought she was Rouge H but when she arrived she was this color, which Bababebi tells me is called Gold although it resembles today's Noisette. I love that this bag was on someone's arm four years before Grace Kelly needed to cover her "bump" The hardware is quite a bit smaller than modern hardware (you can see this in the group shot), the handle is rounder and lower, and the stamp is a bit different.
