My Vintage 1983 Kelly 28 Retourne Box leather in Bordeaux with GHW.
SO COOLVintage? Wanna talk vintage? 1952 Box calf 28 and not a loose stitch or a stain. She will celebrate 70 soon. As an Hermès artisan said to me, "this is a Kelly from before there was a Kelly!" Here with my other gold bags and on her ownI found her on an auction site and thought she was Rouge H but when she arrived she was this color, which Bababebi tells me is called Gold although it resembles today's Noisette. I love that this bag was on someone's arm four years before Grace Kelly needed to cover her "bump"
The hardware is quite a bit smaller than modern hardware (you can see this in the group shot), the handle is rounder and lower, and the stamp is a bit different.

I posted these in another thread, but they also fit well in here.
a Drag 26 bag from 1964 in a dark blue heavenly box leather. Sorry, I was never able to find out how the color is called.
Oh thank you!Vintage bags in box is just so heavenly and it’s extra yummy in a non black color! I want to say this is bleu marine.
I had one, and sold it -- I carried it a couple of times and it was very heavy. I've been spoiled by all of my Lindys.Good afternoon! How do you feel about birkin JPG, they are released more? How long has it been out of stock ?Should I buy one ?
Wow! That is such a lovely 1970 K! I've been on the lookout for one for ages - very hard to get one in an excellent condition. Waiting for all to be well so I can travel to Paris/Tokyo to look for one.A 1970 dark brown Box Kelly. I really enjoyed taking these bags out of the boxes. I barely used any of my bags in 2020
Thank you. The condition is not exactly excellent, but the flaws are superficial only. It was my first “big” H bag, and admittedly still my favorite. I’m working on getting a new KellyWow! I am also very curious about the criteria for double D ring addition. Just sent my 1989 BBK to Paris last month and it needs a handle replacement. I would love to wear my kelly with a shoulder strap without damaging the new handle. This is beautiful! Were you able to convert to double D rings without replacing the handle? Somehow I was under the impression H would only make that change if the handle had to be replaced.
Beauties!
Wow so what was it called back then? (Assuming the kelly name is after grace kelly?)Vintage? Wanna talk vintage? 1952 Box calf 28 and not a loose stitch or a stain. She will celebrate 70 soon.
