I heard from my store that they sold a couple of their diamond birkins to people with CASH! :wtf::wtf::wtf: And the store has a little machine at the back (like a bank!) that counts it....! I wonder if it's drug money....
The buyer went out of the shop and came back with the money the same day (no bank here would give out that much in cash without at least 24 hours notice).

Singapore banks do. The inconvenience would be to the customer, where the banks will have to issue the customer in very small denominations like $1000 bills. Big bills like $10,000 denominations will need at least 3 business days.

PS: I used to be in banking.

HaHa The bank teller who wanted to feel self impt. couldn't read people real well could he GK? I bet that was the last time he pulled that little power trip!!!

Normal credit card. I only need to call the bank if I am overseas. Local purchases have gone through without problem.

I haven't tried a croc Birkin with diamonds, though. Strangely enough, there wouldn't be a problem buying a croc Birkin with diamonds overseas for me, but my local limit is strictly enforced! Go figure... :shrugs:

Amex CC.

Incidently my DH signed a croc and lizzie birkins on his CC, so when his secretary who help him with his CC bills saw the combined amount, jokingly suggested to him that she needs a good pay raise so that she can afford those bags too.....

As long as you have it Hermes is pretty flexible as to the payment methods and they don't mind 'combined' payment as well.

- CREDIT CARD
- MONEY TRANSFER BANK TO BANK
- and for my special HERMES SHOP ( one in the 3 that I generally use...)
I have a credit limit ...of euro 1 xxxxxxxxxx.....that I PAY at the beginning of the year and I use when I NEED....toping up if is necessary time to time...:yes:

Hi,

In general, I would call the bank up to increase the limit temporarily so I can pay for the item. Since my bank account is linked to my credit card, I just have to electronically transfer the amount over.

Havent done so for croco though...no chance for me...

same here plus the exception that in very very rare occasions i get send items with a bill and pay then directly to the stores bank account
