Payment question for those who purhcased birkins from H directly...

I'm the same. Pay off the balance in full with each statement. You're so right! Never get a call about Hermes transactions from my bank either.

On June 18th, less than 2 wks ago, I bought a Birkin (lucky random walk in!!) from the Hermes store on the Italian island of Capri and paid with 2 credit cards, one of which ( on which I placed the far larger amount) doesn't charge an overseas fee (I'm from the UK).
There were absolutely no issues with this and the staff seemed used to the "2 credit cards" payment method! [emoji4]

I plan to use my Amex biz platinum. If you are worried about whether the charge will be accepted there’s a function in the Amex app called “check spending power” to make sure your charge will go thru beforehand. While the platinum claims to have no limits, there are limits for some depending on how much you spend and how long youve had the card. I run pretty much all of my business charges thru the card so the spend is quite high.

Yes, I'm in Italy and pay for bags with wire transfer or cc. Here H does not take checks and payments in cash are only allowed up to 1000€.

I always use my Apple Pay lmao. I hardly carry any cc’s or cash with me and the extra 2% back helps with tax
