Congrats to everyone who managed to get a walk-in appointment today. What time did you go and was the leather desk battling with a good amount of folks asking for cancellation?
I followed what I read here somewhere, go around later in the afternoon, and be specific about the bag you want (don’t ask after cancellation or availability).

What actually happened was I was waiting for my SA to finish but I asked to try a bolide 25 on display. Because they said I can’t try them on display, they said I could come back in an hour to see it in person w an SA.

There ya go!

There was absolutely nobody at the desk when I asked, and there was not a soul either when I went back to say thank you at the end of the appointment. I was in the store at 10:50. To give more context : I was with a male friend, I spoke perfect French and I was carrying an SO. My friend was like : « I’m confused is this supposed to be hard to get?? » 😂😂
There is hope! 🤞🏻😂

Ps: Hope the SAs at the desk will find my broken French + beginner’s level H bag charming when I go in Q4 this year.

I'm back with a success story!!!

For context I've been living in Paris for the past month. DH and I have been applying for appointments nearly every day and I shopped at FSH and Sevres about 2 times each. I probably asked for walk in appts/cancellations around 7-8 different times with no luck. I posted a few pages back that I was able to score an appointment at George V two weeks ago. Unfortunately, during that appointment we left empty handed and broken hearted since the SA didn't have any B/K/C available because no shipment arrived.

Well...today is our last day in Paris and DH was able to score a mid day appt at FSH through the lottery! We couldn't believe it. We arrived a bit earlier than our appointment time (which kept jumping earlier and later) but they were able to pair us with an SA within 5 minutes. This SA didn't seem particularly warm or friendly but was polite and went straight to business. She took us upstairs and asked us right away what we wanted for bags. I gave her all my specs - I first asked for a mini kelly but she said that bag was waitlist only?? Haven't heard anything like that before. But then I gave her my preferred colors for B25, K25 and mini C and she told us she'll be right back and went down the elevator. I honestly wasn't very hopeful at this point and didn't want to get disappointed like last time, so I kept my expectations low. She came back around 15-20 minutes later with one box and told us to follow her up the stairs to the "private" section of the store. I could tell what the bag was from the paper on the side of the box and was beaming while she unboxed it!!! I'll post a reveal with my other goodies from H when I get back to the states and unpack.

For reference, I applied around 9 times before getting an appointment and DH applied around 14 times. We didn't apply every day for the whole month because we went on some weekend trips to other european cities and we were also having issues with getting the verification email (so unsure if some of the applications worked or not).

I was there today and also offered something !

Does anyone know - can any Paris hotel still help with getting a leather appointment? Thank you ❤️
It is my understanding that Hermes stopped taking hotel appts maybe April 2022 . . If a concierge can make an appt, it may be through a personal connection developed over a number of years, but I would not count on it.

Although she technically isn’t a QB at FSH she is one at my home store so I was really happy I was able to get one under my DH’s profile.

Here are some other items I picked up during this trip!
