I was there sat and they had a c24 in lime! hope ur sister snatched it!

Either you live in Paris or must visit often. Or is it just pure luck our trips synch all the time? Sis got a lime c18 in spring of last year. She still really wanted the lime, as she has two other “fruit” Kellys, orange and tomate. She claims she’s making a K fruit bowl. :P

Thank you so much for sharing and CONGRATULATIONS on the beautiful Lime for your sis. So sweet of you!!
I must’ve missed it but was this January or December? I hope January as I’m hoping FSH is starting first SO round of 2020

SO was placed on last Monday, 13th of January.

Dear NanamyRyu, i loved reading your exciting and detailed story! So glad that you don't have to deal with the appointment system in the future anymore. This is like hitting the Jackpot  Would love to see a pic of the lime beauty!! I'm waiting on one too!

Took a pic right before packing. Like most days in Paris during winter, it was too cloudy to get good pic though.

Suuuuper happy for you and sis (of course) this time!!! I love your travel adventures to Paris and so glad this trip was a success. Look forward to you grinning from ear to ear next time. Oh and out of curiosity did you get to pick out a tarmac color to your liking?

YES! I asked for chèvre only and fortunately they had another pink (rose lipstick) to replace my current rose shocking one.

On the plane back home now!

They only had few bags available at the T2 duty free. One black Evelyne, small garden party in I think bleu electrique? And 2002-20 in rose ete. Sole silk in wallet (in any size) was bleu du nord. I just picked up few twillies and perfumes as last minute gifts.

Even though I did not get a bag for myself this trip, it was my appointment, so I consider myself lucky. It would’ve been more awesome if FSH let me purchase a Kelly Danse too but eh, I wasn’t 100% in for one yet anyway. (I did ask. SA asked the manger and I was not allowed another bag)

I feared luck was not on my side when I almost broke a tooth biting into a very hard object, hidden inside a dessert, on arriving day. Then I realized it’s a cute charm, so I accepted it as a sign of good fortune, like Chinese tradition of coin found in a dumpling. I learned about a French tradition of la galette des rois, so not quite the same, lol. But it happened again few days after, so perhaps I shall buy a lottery ticket to fund for the next trip? :P

Thank you all for your kind words and wish the best luck to those who are heading to Paris!

Hello everyone, sorry if this question has been answered but I really don't have the time to go through the 1936 pages of this thread! I understand the bag purchases at FSH work with an appointment - is that for all bags or only quota ones? If I want to get something like an Evelyne or a Double Sens, I still need an appointment?

for all bags :)

All bags.
However, I've read here that some have had luck obtaining an appointment at FSH after explaining to the hostess that they're "only after non-quota bag "x".

Hello fellow H lovers!
Just got back from a long weekend in Paris and wanted to report back. I didn’t get a bag but had a great time and have some thoughts about the whole experience. I’ve been an H lover from afar, but haven’t gone into a store because of fear. Apologies for the long post in advance but wanted to thank you all for your advice previously on this forum

I traveled with 2 friends on a red eye and landed Friday afternoon. It was almost 3pm by the time we got ourselves out of our hotel and my friends wanted to go to Chanel and LV so we did that. We didn’t try for appointments for Friday because we weren’t sure what time we’d even get into the city.

All 3 of us were denied appts for both Sat and Monday. We stopped by FSH Saturday because we had to get some scarves etc and gosh it’s beautiful! The store is gigantic, colorful, energetic, like an H playground. It was pretty busy on the main floor (scarves, men’s accessories etc) but the upper levels were manageable. I saw many people who had appts get denied bags, and also saw a bunch of VIPs get ushered to the back. I bought a scarf and a belt and had a lovely SA, although fairly new to H as his business cards were still being printed :)

Monday was our last day so after much debate I decided to queue before the George V store opened. I arrived one hour prior to opening, at 9:15am and was 15th in line. I think there were 5 or so behind me and all of us saw an SA immediately. Some people walked in around 10:40 and got an appointment for later in the afternoon.

I didn’t get a bag, but while disappointed, I felt almost a weight off my shoulders. I woke up early despite the jet lag and waited an hour in freezing temps, and when I entered the store and met my assigned SA, she asked me very directly “what are you looking for?” and I was caught off guard (and SO cold) that I got flustered and just started blabbing. I wanted to say so much more, because I really enjoy the brand and products, etc but I didn’t get a chance to do so—it was all very hectic, they bring you to a side of the store, where it’s not possible to sit down or relax.

For me personally, next time in Paris, I’ll only try via the FSH appt system. The George V SA told me the system is random and that it’s probably now a 1 in 10 chance of getting an appointment online. And as we know, even then it’s not a guarantee you’re getting a bag. They really want to expand their image beyond B/K/C, and they said the majority of tourists come and just request those bags.

I also think it’d be more satisfying to develop a relationship with an SA and now that I’ve overcome my fear, I’ll be checking out the NYC stores hoping to meet equally lovely SAs!

Personal takeaways:
  1. sleep (and vacation) is more important than Hermes
  2. Paris is wonderful and beautiful even with protests and transit problems
  3. Sometimes things don’t work in our favor. And other times they do. It’s life :)

Overall had a blast in Paris! Don’t stress, relax, enjoy your vacay and may you have better luck than I did!

All bags.

I recently returned from Paris and applied for a total of 9 appointments between 4 girls (I applied 4 times myself with no luck) None of us got a single appointment during our stay. I asked at the hostess desk if I could purchase an aline mini bag one day and the hostess said no bags without an appointment. The next day I asked the same thing mentioning how we had several rejections at this point and the lady looked up my passport to confirm. She was able to call an SA down to assist me with Aline mini. I tried to also ask for an etoupe Lindy for my mother and he said I don’t think we have any. He brought back the Aline mini I requested and also helped me look at bag straps.

So while you do need an appointment for all bags it’s worth asking especially if you have had several appointment rejections already. They might be willing to help you out.

You are SO right!! Your takeaways say it all. I am sure you will find the perfect SA to help you onto that slippery orange slope

ABSOLUTELY!
(ps: Hope you overcome your "fear" of entering H store. Remember, your money = survival of the company)

Hi everyone! Very new on this blog, question for you guys... does anyone know if FSH will be open on Friday, May 8th? I understand that it's a National French Holiday and didn't know if I needed to plan on doing something else that day! Thank you!
