Statistic point: Got an appointment on 4th attempt prior to Christmas. Have profile and purchased before with consistent history in leather, shoes, and scarves the past 5 years.

Husband got an appointment after 5th attempt post Christmas. No profile and purchase history.

We were not offered anything. This is my 2nd year since the appointment system totalling to 4 appointments and have not scored anything since the launch of this system. I did purchase a Togo K28 in Raisin GHW before when it was a physical queue.

For my appointment I was offered a black 24/24 in combination of croc and leather which I declined. I did have a very narrow request for a B30 in neutral no Epsom. A party next to me had a wishlist of many items and were offered a C24 exotic in diamonds in display... Which to me was just plain ridiculous based on their wishlist.

Second appointment I was told no and was not offered anything as an alternative.

In both appointments I was with my husband. They both took a very long time after taking our requests. First appointment we waited for about 20mins and second appointment about 15mins. I was not given the strike excuse but simply that there were no deliveries in both instances.

Despite the strike, the store seemed very busy. It was mostly from appointment people who had to loiter around the store for their associates. SLG, scarves, and shoes all had SA readily available to assist.

As always in France, attitude and service were hit or miss. I had dressed nicely in a Max Mara cashmere coat on first appointment and rolled out of bed in a parka in the next. Really no difference in how I was treated.

Hi all..


Please find my latest Paris experience...

I got my appointment on my 5th attempt, I was so happy that it’s was too perfect because while I was trying for the appointment I was in Disneyland for 4 nights and if I had the appointment while am in Disney I’ll have to go to Paris for the day and come back, but no I got it when I was back in Paris and it’s was on my birthday yay!!

It was on the 26th, I was a bit worried that its the day after Christmas so maybe stock is low, it was at 4pm.



Anyways went in at 2pm because I wanted to pass by some SA’s to say hi, and my appointment started moving late, I went to the hostess and checked in..

At 3:20 I was called, the leather department manger was the one who served me, she asked me what’s am looking for, I gave her my list and I asked for swift as I know not many asks for it so maybe I’ll be lucky to score something..

She came back after maybe 20 minuets with a lot of boxes, a mini verrou in rose eete , a clutch in rose lipstick, Constance 24 in etain and a clic wallet in rose Sakura.

I declined them all politely, she was trying to convince me with the wallet because I expressed my love for the color, I told her I already have the kelly wallet in this color but still she was trying to push me for it, Then I showed her the picture of my wallet for her to believe that I have it, and told her it nice but I won’t buy 2 wallets in the same color.

I felt it was hopeless then I asked for a bag called clic h 21 , I recently got it in gold and I LOVE IT, and thought if I can get it in the color beton, she told I will check but let me take you to the shoe section as I had a reservation on a boot, when we went there she told me someone will come and will help you and forgot about my bag request, she was about to leave so I reminded her, she went for few minutes and came with 4 of them, 2 shades of red, pink and yellow, I declined again as I wanted a neutral color, and I apologized that I made her go and look without me buying anything, I asked if I can come the next day she told me “you have to apply online”, so zero help.. honestly I felt that she didn’t want to get me what I wanted..



The funny thing also, we sat in the shoe section waiting for someone as she told me that she asked for an SA for us, no one came..

So I saw a random SA and asked for her help, the bummer was when I asked to see the boots I reserved 3 week earlier by email, was the wrong boots, I asked for leather and it was suede..

What a birthday.. hahaha

Then went to the jewlery section got a cute ring and asked for a bangle but didn’t find it my size, they told me it available in George V so I planned to go there before they close..

Went to George V and went straight to Jewlery section, a lovely SA helped me got the bracelet I wanted and got also the silver bag charms bracelet to use it as a charm for my Birkins, and decide to ask for a bag, when she checked my profile she told me you got a bag in October and that’s consider to close to get another one now but let me see what I can find you maybe a kelly pochette or something mini, she went and came back with nothing as stock is very low and asked me to come back the next day and set an appointment for me..

It was my last day in Paris and I had to leave to the airport at 5pm, so my last chance is George V and honestly didn’t want to waist more time on H , it is my mums first time in Paris and wanted her to see the city plus we stayed only 2 night and first day was Christmas so everything was closed..



At 11:30 went to my appointment with a lot of mixed feelings and told my brother to come with me, maybe I can ask her to put the bag on his profile if it’s too hard to put it on mine..

I went in told the hostess that I had the appointment, she told please wait upstairs..

Waited for almost 15 minuets no one came, and I was with my mum, brother and his 2 kids..

Went down to remind them, she told me that my SA is not in today as she was sick..

Ok why she didn’t mention that in the beginning??!!!

Anyways she assigned me with another SA, again gave her my list went for long time came back but still not us saw her holding a box but standing and chatting with an SA..

Ok can’t you see that am with 2 kids plus they started loosing patients..

Anyways came back with a bolide 31,, I even didn’t ask for the color because am in to small bags, i declined and asked her to get me a boot which I reserved but wasn’t sure of it..

she went and took so long I swear I was like I don’t want the boot I better leave, but was scared that they blacklist me,, hahaha as she have all my info..

She came back with a small box not the boots but a bag!!! Wow I was impressed..

It was the new Kelly Depeche clutch in etoupe PHW.. its cute that you can play around with, you can carry it in many ways..

So I got it,, I think I love it but still I want to go home try it and see how I feel.. even if I had second thought but back in my mind I know that my sister in law wanted this bag so if I decided to not keep it, I give it to her..

I am bouncing up and down with excitement! Would love to see the pics. But of course, let the DW enjoy her day and post in due time :D So awesome that it worked for you guys!
This thread has been so much fun. You never know what you're gonna get...:D
