Hi, I am traveling in London from Asian region, have been trying to apply for the reservation since I am headed to Paris, but every time I try to register for the lottery, no SMS confirmation code gets sent out, so I just cannot complete my registration.

I checked the followings:
-the setting of my iPhone —fine, it can receive other text messages, and does not reject texts from overseas, I actually have successfully registered from overseas before with this iPhone.
- whether my phone number is accurate—yep, that is, including the country code

If this situation does not get resolved, is there anything I can do? Thanks!

This happened to my husband last time we were in Paris while his data was off - we were both just using wifi and my phone allowed the text messages and his rejected. But he could get them if he turned his data on. If you are using wifi try that.
Otherwise, go into the store once you arrive in Paris and explaination the situation and see what they can do. Good luck.

In accordance with your advice, if nothing works, I will go into the store and explain.

I once heard that there may seem to exist the email to get ppl without the smartphone to be registered, if anyone knows that, such information will be much appreciated.

This happened to me once as well when my French sim card was out of credit but I should have received the confirmation text just fine as it is free to receive. Never really found out why. I then switched back to my Czech sim card (got 2 while travelling around Europe last trip) and managed to complete the registration, however did not get an sms nor email notification that night of the registration outcome. The next day I applied and did get a notification which makes me think that there may be a glitch in their appointment system from time to time.

It is definitely worth going to the store in person when you arrive and explain your situation. If somebody cancelled or the store is not particularly busy, they might be able to squeeze you in for an appointment. Best of luck to you and please keep us updated!

I don’t know what's wrong, since I could receive sms with the same phone earlier this year.
I think I will go visit the store and try to get an appointment, thanks for all your kind encouragement!
 
Hi! My friend and I will be in Paris next week and will be using both our numbers to try and get an appointment and hopefully one of us will. For those that have been successful, have you ever gone to one appointment with another friend and asked for bags at the same time? We both want either a birkin or Kelly but I don’t know if that is too much for an ask and we should just try to let who ever got the confirmation go for the quota bag? Any advice would be so helpful, thanks!!!

You are only permitted one quota bag per appointment. Some SAs extend this to one bag of any type per appointment. Good luck!
 
I wanted to share my success story at FSH yesterday! I wasn’t planning to apply for an appointment because we are in Paris for my mom’s 70th birthday and I didn’t want the trip to be about shopping; however on a whim I decided to apply on Friday for a Saturday appointment since Saturday was our last day and we did not have any specific plans. In no way did I expect to get an appointment, since last time I was in Paris (April 2019), 4 adults in our group applied every day for 5 days and not one of us got an appointment through the online system lol. (As an aside, I did get an appointment/bag last time after purchasing a few pieces of RTW though lol) However, much to my surprise, I was granted a 10:30 am appointment for Saturday! I was almost too excited to sleep and kept revising my wishlist lol. My first choice was a kelly 25 in rose poupre with PHW, since I have plenty of neutrals. We arrived at Hermes at 10:25 and waited in a short line outside until they opened the doors. At this point, those of us with an appointment were directed upstairs where we (my mom and sisters) were greeted by a lovely SA. Our SA took us to a side room and offered us coffee. When she returned with the coffee she asked how can I help you. I showed her my wishlist and she took a picture of it. I told her I wasn’t interested any kelly larger than 28, Birkin larger than 25 or Constance larger than 18 and that I really love the color rose poupre. After she took my wishlist she asked, “is there anything else you would like to see” to which I replied that I was interested in RTW and would it be ok if I browse around while we wait. She said of course lol. She was gone about 15 min or so, and I distracted myself by looking at all of the beautiful RTW items (I am a sucker for their cashmere coats).. When she returned she was carrying 2 orange boxes, both small. She said, “I have something from your wishlist and think you’ll be pleased” and she revealed my new beauty - kelly 25 magnolia togo with PHW. It was love at first sight and I was beyond excited. She said that rose poupre was the last season’s color so they didn’t have stock but the color is almost identical. In the second box was an ostrich wallet in rose poupre which I politely declined. In the end I only purchased the kelly and an additional longer strap for cross body. All in all it was a phenomenal experience with unparalleled service - and I can’t wait to return!!
