Here is the summary of my experience. I have been visiting Paris almost every year for the past few years.

I could not score an appointment at FSH last year under the new online system, so I decided to take a risk and I made two appointments prior to arriving in Paris. I made a third appointment for my arrival day and I got rejected again. Finally, I scored an appointment on my fifth try.

Prior to my FSH appointment, I went to visit my Sèvres SA and he assisted me with my SLG, rodeo, and jewelry purchases. He also cross-referenced my list of desired bags with their inventory. Unfortunately they didn’t have anything. Even though, I couldn’t score a bag, I was very thankful that I was able to score a croc calvi card case that had an amazing print! I regretted not buying a croc calvi card case last year, so I was determined to buy one on this trip. ☺️

On the day of my FSH appointment, I felt very hopeful for scoring a 10:30am appointment. There were long lines at both doors around 10:15am. After checking in upstairs, my assigned SA led me to a table at the back of the store. Upon sitting down, she asked me directly what I would like. I was a little bit thrown off as I thought we would exchange pleasantries and build rapport. Anyways, I passed her my list of desired bags and she replied that she will return in a few minutes. I panicked for a few seconds as I recall in this chat that some SA’s were gone for 20 to 45 minutes. A few minutes later, she returned with a box. My heart sank, because it seemed like a Picotin MM. She claimed that they didn’t receive any B’s and K’s that day (I guess due to Cannes Film Festival?). When she opened the box, it was a noir Picotin MM touch with phw. She said it was the only Picotin touch they had even though I was hoping for a gold one. Then, she showed me on her phone the store’s inventory of P’s and GP’s. Afterwards, we went downstairs to look at twilly’s, jewelry, rodeo’s, and SLG’s. Unfortunately, they were low in stock or had no stock for all of the items on my list, so I only bought the Picotin touch. While I was at the store for an hourish, I noticed that no one was offered a B/K on both floors.

After lunch, I went back to Sèvres to meet up with my SA. A few minutes later, he directed me to a changing room and showed me my holy grail! I felt like I was in heaven and I almost pinched myself. Apparently, he shared my desired list of bags with the SM the other day and the SM was surprised that they couldn’t offer me a bag from my list (FYI, I’m not a VIP). When their new shipment arrived that morning, my SA and SM pulled aside my HG!!! It was an unbelievable kind gesture and I was incredibly thankful. I hugged my SA a couple of times and I almost burst into tears a few times. LOL. A couple of his colleagues that assisted me the other day recognized me and were very happy for me for scoring my HG. My HG is a noir K28 in epsom sellier with phw and my second desired bag is a noir B30 in togo with rghw. I feel that carrying K’s are more convenient around younger children, but I was willing to get a B because I love rghw.

Both absolutely gorgeous!! I also had a wonderful experience at Sevres- just underscores "you never know". And as a believer in "you can never have too many black bags" I can say I am officially jealous! Congrats.

A very H- supportive bf for sure! We didn’t get the K cos:
I was already accumulating spending in my home country
We had 30 min before closing time to buy usd 14K of ‘other things’, slgs not allowed

I managed to get my Kelly retourne 1.5 months later in my home country. Still waiting for a sellier This love affair with Hermes is a long slippery slope!

The gilets jaunes protests have been happening every weekend since October of last year. While they don't attract the numbers they did in the beginning, they're not going away any time soon.

Just on saturdays. The number of protesters is decreasing, and they are banned from certain areas. Although we didn’t see any, be aware that some metro stations were closed. This is announced. Check the web or with your hotel concierge.
FYI, on Monday this week the Louvre abruptly closed because of employee walkout.

I experienced the protests twice. One in Dec 2018 and the protest was really big at that time. Many metro lines and shops were closed. I just came back from Paris last Sat, although several metro stations were closed, I can easily find other route to continue my itinerary. So, not a big deal now.

No protest going on
Usually on Saturday and you can get info from hotel concierge where it gonna be at
Both sat were very peaceful
