Leaving Paris with the biggest smile! Both purchases from my engagement trip these past 10 days!

(Also does anyone know if somehow you can re-acquire a B box? We weren’t able to take it with us flying around France )

Two very special bags! What a great way to remember this trip. As bags are shipped to each store in their individual box, it is very rare that stores have extras. I once received a bag in a damaged box from a store in another city (in the old days when your store would facilitate that), and they sent me a new box. IDK how they arranged it but it might mean that there is a box or two in their storage rooms.

I don't believe you can reacquire a box, since they're afraid because so many people resell them, but congratulations on your two beautiful bags and on your engagement!!! So lovely to hear about all the happy endings on this thread; thanks to you and all for sharing :hbeat:

That makes so much sense! Thank you so much for your well wishes & congrats :) much appreciated!

Not sure where to post this. I did a search but didn’t find that thread. Are appointments now mandatory in all Hermes stores in Paris, or just FSH and are appointments needed for ALL bags or just B and K? Thanks in advance.

FSH needs appt for all bags. Sevres has same day appt if you go early enough for women’s handbags only. George V, I believe you can try to go without an appointment but needs some spending before getting a B or K.

Congrats! What a wonderful way to always remember this trip! Next time ( and I am SURE you will have a next time!), consider this- the bags fly with you in your hand held luggage regardless, so empty the boxes, place them in your luggage ( one inside the other will work for these- nesting )and then place your clothes etc inside them. The boxes take up no room to speak of, and when you get home, voila! you have your boxes, tissue paper etc. ( may need to dump the tissue pillows but that's the least of it). I had 2 large boxes ( for bags) this trip, plus small ones for scarves, and everything got home safely. Bottom line however, you have 2 marvelous bags forever- Enjoy them!
Note: place the box inside its top, the same with the other, then place the clothes in.

This is what I do as well!

Got an appointment for FSH at 1030am... Nearly had a heart attack about getting there because the police had part of Rue de Faubourg SH sectioned off... including FSH store! Luckily, we were let through after saying we had an appointment!

The SAs who helped us out were so sweet! My DFH and I decided we just enjoyed the entire FSH experience even if we didn’t get a bag. We waited for a while sipping on our waters and just taking in the beautiful bags & accessories on display - even a €46500 black croc belt with the H encrusted in crystals.

They both came back with a box and ushered us into the private room & proceeded to open up this beautiful Constance 24 Ostrich in Vert Vertigo!! Always loved the green family Hermes creates for their leathers.... cannot believe how lucky we got. Absolutely in love!!!

First photo is w flash, second without... sorry for the amateur photos!
Beautiful color!! Congratulations

Clients do leave boxes behind, I haven't taken my boxes home from Paris for a few years.

Thanks so much for the info. I’ll be with my husband and he has no patience for what he calls the Hermes game. I have just one morning on my own (I.e. without him) so will see what I can do.
