I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

When it's quiet it means stock is generally low. August and Jan comes to mind. I think there are comparably fewer Constances made, so that influences offers.
Thanks periogirl. I was thinking either spring or Autumn next year. I was there in October 2016 (exploring NO shopping allowed) and loved the climate, not too cold and the sun shone everyday. Do the other stores in Paris have an appointment request system as FSH?

No, only FSH has the online system. The others are walk-in, unless you there’s a specific SA you want to make an appointment with

Just make sure you avoid fashion weeks in October and March. It's even crazier/lower stock than usual.

I’m in Paris at the moment and the weather is great. A bit cool but sunny, perfect for sightseeing. As far as I know FSH is the only store in Paris that has online appointment request system. I actually have never been to the Sèvres store but read somewhere online from others who have that you do need to put your name down for an appointment when you arrive if you want to look at bags. I’m not sure how accurate that is though but will find out tomorrow if I have a chance to drop by.

On another note, DH and I have both failed to score an appointment for tomorrow at FSH. I kind of expected it since both of us did get appointment (on two different days) when we first arrived in Paris earlier this month (but no bags). We leave Friday morning so I have only one more try left

Hi! At Sevres you can line up outside before the store opens to walk in and immediately have a handbag appointment. Once the store is open, you can go directly to the handbag hostess and they will put your name down for an appt and then they just go down list helping people in order.
Hope that helps. Sevres is an absolutely beautiful store, not to be missed.
Enjoy!
