Actually both my hubby and I didn’t score any appt and my hubby talked his way through to get one. That’s why they said they already made an excellent for us, so only 1 bag. Now that I know you’re 15, I’ll register my Children next time for an appt. May I know did they allow you to pay with your parents credit card or did you use your own?

I would like to share a bit my experience in Paris shopping.
In the previous few years when it was still queuing system, I had some bad experiences and this is the first time I come to FSH with the brand new appointment system since the implementation from last year.

I am arriving Paris on Tue morning, and I know that I will not get an appointment at my first attempt, so I started registered a week before, I took the risk, coz if I got the appointment and I did not show up I will not get it again when I am in Paris, so if you want to try this method, take your risk.

I got the appointment on Tue morning (so lucky), and I have some purchase record in Paris in the previous years, no bag purchased. I arrived the store on time and I was assigned a SA. And I told her what I want, I wanted a Constance, either size, and color and all the details, and my next choice would be a Mini Kelly with the same color and hardware I want. She went away for over 10 mins and she got me something, I saw the size of the box I knew that it was not a Constance. And the SA was very nice, she told me they don’t have any Constance at the moment, so she brought me something else. And when she opened the box, it was a mini Kelly in Black. I appreciated her very much on offering me something very nice. So I took it together with some Twilly and a Rodeo. She was so lovely and helpful and I asked whether or not I could look for her again in Oct when I come back and she said definitely, even though I still need to make an appointment. I said it is ok, I just want to pump in for her again. I am lucky this time since I saw there were quite a few of ladies’ SA shaking their heads after a while and I believe they will not offer to everyone who gets an appointment. And after all these years negative experience in Paris H store, finally I got a SA who is nice and willing to help.

The only way I would think you could have gotten around this is if your dad paid with his card/passport for one and your mother paid with her card/passport for the other. Not 100% positive on the treatment if it were a family card with authorized users though. Just my two cents for next time! Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Yes paying on separate cards would have been the plan... but we didn't tell them that. Nevertheless it's great idea for next time, thanks!

Well done to your husband for getting an appointment! Do register your children, I read somewhere earlier in this thread that the youngest person to register for an appointment was three months! It will increase your chances of getting an appointment. I payed with my moms credit card as I don't even have one!

I have followed this thread for a few years and finally found the time to write about my experience.

I went to Paris at the end of January with my DH and 2 DS. Two weeks before my trip I emailed the lovely SA, from Sevres, that sold me a C24 on my previous trip to Paris. I gave her my desired colors and sizes. She responded and told me which day she worked that week and looked forward to seeing me. When I arrived in Paris, I logged on the H website for an appt at FSH. I was able to get an appt on my first try! However, they didn’t have any B/K/C in my desired size or neutral color. I wasn’t very surprised that I wasn’t successful but very hopeful my Sevres SA would have something for me.

When I showed up to Sevres my SA was with another customer so I browsed until she was done. When she was finally able to help me she asked me what I was looking for that day. I told her a B/K/C in a neutral color. After 10min, she came back and told me to follow her to the women’s fitting room. It was a K28 black PHW Togo leather!! She looked at my profile and saw that I haven’t purchased a K in Paris yet so she knew I’d love it. I immediately said yes and was over the moon. I was so excited that I didn’t bother inspecting the bag closely. When I got to the hotel I was admiring the bag and noticed it had a horseshoe symbol. I know this means it was a SO but I was puzzled as to why someone would order a black k28 Togo leather. I looked but couldn’t find anything that was “special” about it. The exterior and interior was all black with PHW. I’m still super excited about it and feel extremely lucky to have been offered this bag.

Has this happened to anyone else?

This happened to my mom but wasn't at Paris. She was offered a SO Kelly in 2 tone and brushed GHW.

I have purchase history and bag purchase history at fsh. I am only in Paris for 2 days. I tried for an appointment and was rejected. I brought the birkin I got at fsh last year with me as I read on tpf that lets them know you aren't a reseller and helpahyour chances. I went in without an appointment today wwith my bag, asked for lovely SA who offered me my birkon last year, and she no longer works there. I asked around to a few different SAs if they could make room for me for a leather appointment, every time I got sent back downstairs to the leather hostess and every time I asked the leather hostess if they could fit me in they said no. I came back later in the day and purchased two sandals and a clic clac. I asked both the sa who helpes me with the clic clac and the one who helped me with the shoes if they could do something and fit me in for leather, and they both said no I have to go to the letter hostess. So even with the purchase history that I have and the purchase history from today and clearly showing them I am not a reseller, I still couldn't get an appointment. just found out now that I also did not get an appointment for tomorrow. Unfortunately my last trip when I got my Birkin was magical even though I had to wait in line from 8: 30 am. This trip has been a disappointment unfortunately. I also tried out Sevres today and I got a flat out no there are no Birkins, Kelly's or constances in stock. I doubt I will even bother walking into any Hermes boutique and asking tomorrow I'm rather disheartened, I thought that if you could prove that you're not a reseller and genuinely interested in hermes which I am, then they would be able to work you in but everytime I got a no no no.

so sorry to hear your bad experience....I think resellers nowadays do buy alot of items from other non-leather categories so it's not just a matter of proving that you're not a reseller. Not only that, FSH do get an overwhelming requests for bag appointments so the day you went, they may just be more busy than usual since it's the summer time. Maybe tmrw may be a better day to try? Be persistent and go to FSH tomorrow. I had a similar experience, didn't get an appt but walked in. First day I was offered a constance & second day I walked out with a B30. So do try. And make your Paris trip worth it. All the best!

Does anyone know if a croc bag is ever offered to a no previous history person in Paris?
My HG bag is a black croc KP but I think I am very unlikely to score one there!! Don’t want to ask and appear foolish.
Have been waiting for ever here in the USA for one with gold hdw.
