I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I failed to get a B/K past three days at FSH, but today, I got this bag instead. My SA told me today was the first day of introducing "Verrou" at H stores in Paris. I got Blue sapphire, and there were gris mouette, rouge grenat, rouge tomate, orange, black, and bright yellow. Size is 21, a bit smaller than Constance 24.
Hope I will like this bag more and more...
What leather is this beautiful bag? Thanks

It was extremely busy on the day I went. But I got there at about 630am. The queue was massive by the time the shop opened so go early!
Wow - 6:30 am!! Doesn't FSH open at 10:30am? That's a lot of time in the cold. I'm planning a trip in Feb, and was hoping to try for a B or K, but I don't think I have the stamina for 4 hours of standing in the cold.

I just got back from Paris last night. As I suspected, I spent a lot of money at the retail level at the flagship store before the sale even began. I decided to not go to the sale. My husband and I slept in until 10 am!! We were the only ones at a post sale dinner party for 18 people that weren't exhausted. I saved at lot of money on the items I purchased at the flagship store over the cost at home in the USA. You can compare prices by looking at the online prices at the French website versus the US site. You get an additional 10 VAT refund back on the French prices when you buy in France and you are a non Euro resident.(but not on the sale venue items.) I bought a Kelly 35 glossy croc in Rouge H and a black glossy croc Jige 29. I will take pictures soon. I blew my budget big time. That's why I skipped the sale.

Omg I always wondered how much you have to spend for them to offer you a croc kelly or birkin

Do you mind me asking lol. Or maybe just a ruff ball park

Really wanted to get a croc this trip but don't know any of the new sales associates and I'm scared if I buy I might not get anything

Hi---I am an established customer in their system with a "history". I don't have to buy anything to qualify anymore. I really think it's all about luck and the SA you are dealing with. I have heard of people that have little or no history scoring dream bags. Go figure.

I've scored regular leather birkins before but never spend more than 10k lol

Always around that mark

I go go to Paris every year, But I don't seem to recognise any of The sa"s especially the ones who helped me in the past

And now that i want a croc I guess I'm being more tactile lol especially since my sa is gone.

But I guess you're right. Its always about luck and a friendly sa with Hermes to make all your dreams come true :)

I guess it's part of the hunt !

Congrats again on your loot! Rouge h is a beautiful Color!!!! Post a pic ;)

6:30am? I'm not sure if that early is really necessary....so here is my story:
I arrived Tuesday Jan 10, and by the time I arrived at FSH it was 1pm. I knew chances were slim for an appt but I still wanted to look around the store and try for an appointment.
Nope, no luck.

I then Lined up at 8am on Thursday Jan 12, I was #6 in line at the main entrance. Exactly 10:30am, the main doors opened, but then after they let 10 ppl in they then let around 15/20 ppl in from the side entrance! And for sure those ppl were not in line at 8am.....more like 9am!
Anyhow, I was still good as I was the first 10 to line up to see an SA. I guess I was also lucky cuz the lady that was in front of me just walked by and up the stairs ignoring the SA that was assigned to her. She then became my SA who was very friendly and cheerful.
She took me upstairs where all the ppl who lined up in front of me were seated at different counters already talking to their SA's and I could hear almost everyone asking for a B/K.
We had some small talk, and I also asked for a b30/kelly sellier/c24 all with MANY color options, any hardware, but specific on sizes. She told me right away to forget about the color Black and even asking for a Constance. Not possible and rare.

She then left for about 5 mins...but in that 5 mins....4 ppl who had lined up in front of me were all declined by their SA that there was 'no stock' for any b/k. I saw them all sadly leave after waiting since 8am (probably earlier since they were already lined up prior to me arriving). I was getting prepared to hear the same thing when she came back with a BIG box and asked me to follow her to the private room!!
She then said I was lucky, but....It was a B35 in Colvert. I tried it on, but I only wanted a B30 and dark/neutral colors so I declined and asked her once again if there was anything else. She then asked me if I would look at the Retourne in kelly and to give her more color options...so I said shades of red would be an option but ONLY in the kelly no in a birkin.

Again, Less than 5 mins, she came back with 3 boxes!
She came back with a fourni, and a kelly wallet in Red Tomate to match my Sellier Kelly 32 in Red Tomate!!!!! I was sooooooooooooo surprised and felt so lucky as she showed me both a birkin and kelly when everyone else was declined around me. So I don't really get how they pick and choose...but I'm not complaining since I picked up the kelly!
It was my first try at FSH for a bag, no purchase history, dressed casual and I only had Hermes bracelets on.

Good luck everyone!

Lovely bag(and glove clips!). Can you please comment on the closure? I've heard some discussion about the hardware catching on clothing? I agree, more 'under the radar ' than a C. Tres chic! Congratulations!

Yea. Lining up early doesn't mean much, I saw people just behind me being declined immediately. I think you just have to be lucky, also I heard that only the first 20 people in the store have chances of being allocated one.

Having said that I saw one SA (male, young), he took his customers upstairs with boxes every single time someone approached him!!!!

Good luck! And L, congrats congrats congrats on your Kelly !
