Hi ladies. I've enjoyed seeing all your photos. I am wondering how well your Panthere watch has held up over time. How is the wear and tear on this watch? Also @vcaalhambra what are the changes made to this rereleased version of the Panthere watch from the original if you know? Thanks so much!

Hello! Panthere watch has held up great but I've only had this particular watch since the end of December. The quality is amazing! I would say the quality of all Cartier watches is amazing! The major difference between ss vintage and new ss is the following:
-The new watch is all polished steel, the vintage was not.
-The roman numerals on the new version are slightly bigger.
Here are the photos, vintage and new.

@vcaalhambra thank you so much for your quick reply and the comparison photos! If the new version is all polished steel, what is the vintage finish? I can't tell from the pic..
It's half polished, half brushed. Here is the video of the vintage:

Hi! I’ve had my Panthere for about 3 years and it still looks like new. I didn’t wear it for over a year during the pandemic though, and I’ve always alternated it with my TF. I tend to wear my TF during the day, then switch to the Panthere when going out in the evening (because it really is like a piece of jewelry!).

Very good to know,

I'm thinking of getting one. Here is a pic from yesterday. Pictured are the small and medium Panthere, and a 31mm Rolex (not the specs I'm interested, just pictured here for sizing purposes). For anyone stuck between sizes for the Panthere, i will say that the small and medium are smaller in person than how they appear in photos. The small is a drop too small for my liking (it's more like wearing a bracelet or piece of jewelry). The medium seemed too large in photos, but in person it was easy to get used to. If I choose Cartier it will be the medium in ss with diamond bezel.

Thank you so much @vcaalhambra I will watch this today!

ETA:. I just watched the video and now I understand the differences, thank you very much!
Anytime! Let me know if you have any other questions about Panthere, happy to answer them! :) This is one of my favorite watches. Just curious, after watching the video, which design do you like better, the vintage or newlsy redesigned in 2017?

@vcaalhambra after seeing it in person yesterday and knowing I want ss w/diamond bezel, definitely the latest version! That goes for both sizes!
That's awesome! I have ss small with diamonds and I love it! I am thinking of maybe getting YG eventually (also in small size, I'm petite so it suits me well). The design of this watch is amazing!! Hope you get it soon! If they haven't increased the price yet, I would say get it before they do! They officially increased on on 6/30 so if it still the old price I would get it asap! Good luck, let me know how it works out!
