Yes i know what you mean by the SAs but you have got to give them a break they are paid to sell them they can't know everything about it. People on this forum go out of thier way to know more basically because of obsession lol! :)I work at a shop selling pandora and we aren't involved in ordering or anything we just sell them

Oooh sorry to double post but i just got an email from Elisa Ilana saying that they have a 3 day sale on retired beads if anyone wants to check that out? x

Their prices are totally ridiculous for the retired beads......I'm sure that we still have some of the silver ones available here in Australia like the fish, strawberry, elephant, dice etc....and they are all $30 AUD here. Also, Waterfall Jewellers have the retired ones too at some great prices.

I haven't had anything to post for a long time however I am now over 3 months pregnant and I have had birthday this week so I got some Pandora goodies from DH!! :yahoo:

I got (for getting over the 13 weeks and good test results) the gold puffy heart and my DSD got the I love you bead.

For my birthday I got the gold little girl to represent my DSD as she can into my life as a cute 2 year old (talk about spoilt!) and this pink sapphire charm images.gilletts.com.au/images/imagesc/q3310c.jpg.

I have put them all on my necklace but I think I will have to have reorganise my bracelet and necklace when I have the time. They do need a good clean!

As you can see he spent a lot in one hit - and no gift was offered to him. Crazy! I wonder how much you have to spend locally to get something?!

DSD has her birthday soon so I wonder what ones she will get.

Here is my bracelet completed! :D - I absolutely love it!! I started it mid-August and its finished already! I would love to start a silver/pink bracelet next - maybe for Christmas??

I am so happy for your good news! I will keep you in my thoughts for the next 6 months.

Thanks so much for posting that. Best pics I've seen of the leather bracelets yet. Are they in the stores where you live?
Haven't seen anything yet locally. I hope to go out this weekend to see if there are any available. Otherwise, just online for now. The link I posted if for a company store so maybe the regular retailers are still waiting?

Congratulations!! I wish you the best for the rest of your pregnancy! Its such a great time in your life so enjoy it! And congratulations on your gorgeous charms - you will have to post a picture of them on your bracelet.

That leaf charm is great - thanks for posting. My Pandora store (which is inside a bridal botique had no idea about this being release). they also don't have the Fall items and don't expect them till Nov. If you hear anything else from the Vancouver stores let me know. I live in Victoria and we are the last toknow since we are an "island".

Thanks

I asked the pandora store if they had got any of the new fall collection in, and they said it would not be in until the end of October, maybe even the beginning of November. They had just got a huge shipment in the day I popped in & they were hoping to have the fall charms in that shipment but none arrived - apparently they are on backorder. They come from Denmark to the United States, and then get sent up to Canada from the US. They do not ship directly to Canada because the US carries more than we do up here. We actually have to wait for the US to go through their orders and then ship Canada's percentage.

The more I stare at the pictures in my new catalog, the more I am doubting that I can stay away from the new Fall beads. I want the Bear Quartz dangle and the rhodolite garnet dangle. I don't know where I will put them, but I like them a lot!

I know that I want 3 wooden beads for my mom for Christmas, but according to the catalog, they will only be available in exclusive Pandora stores or Shop-in-Shop stores. There is only one S-in-S even kind of near me, so I called them to see when they expect the new wooden beads. They aren't expecting them until November, but will call/email me when they arrive.

I am itching to start a brown/neutral bracelet for my mom. Do you think that it would be best on a leather bracelet, double leather bracelet, or a regular Pandora clasp bracelet?

I think it is a matter of personal taste. I'm leaning toward the doubel or single leather bracelets with the brown wood beads for the fall.

I agree, i have not seen a good fake yet... the fakes that are on ebay are hideous looking and are so obviously fake.
 What's interesting is that there are plenty of inexpensive and cute cable or snake chain bracelets - and cute beads and charms to put on them, that are not sold as Pandora at all!

Some may acknowledge that the style is "Pandora-Inspired," or that the beads will "fit Pandora," so if someone just likes that style of charm bracelet, but can't afford Pandora, they can get a very nice bracelet and a whole mess of beads for very little money.

I got one last year and filled it up with cloisonne donuts that were just sold as plain old cloisonne donuts, the total cost was about $8, shipping and all, and it looks great!

I can't imagine that any Pandora fan would think it was "real" for a minute, which is fine, that was so not my goal - with all those cloisonne donuts, it really just has its own look, and the little niece I "made it" for just loves it!

But the faux Pandora sold as the real thing does seem to be consistently fugly - and consistently way more expensive than the "no name" but cute bracelets that make no claims to anybody's name!

Nelly4, what a gorgeous bracelet and only starting in August, that's great.

I have an almost complete (maybe 2 or 3 more charms) bracelet in pinks and two tones and am contemplating on starting a second maybe in blues and aquas.
