What I think we're all learning lately is that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If your gut is uneasy then I would suggest passing on her offer and buying from someone you trust. I think there is less protection with PayPal if you are not buying through eBay. Just make sure you use a credit card as you could always do a charge back if there is a problem and PayPal can't resolve for you.
I'm glad to see that you have tracking numbers. Sounds like this will turn out alright in the end.
Dam, they are dropping like flies. I know three are several cosmetic companies that will tell sellers to cease and desist selling their product on ebay. I wonder if Pandora is cracking down. Or if it was just some bad luck on the part of the Bead Bucket and Kennaldew. Even though neither shipped to Canada, I had no problem having them ship to friends of mine in the US and them forwarding on to me. Their service was great and their products sure looked like if not better than the real thing. I'm retired and can't afford to pay full pop for most of my beads. Does this mean the end of my addiction?
Does anyone know if the new wooden beads will be sold in the US? They're not on the Pandora US website, but they're not on the Australian site either.
The new Fall Pandora catalog says that the wooden beads would only be available at exclusive Pandora stores and "Shops Within a Shop". I did a search to find one near me. My favorite boutique is a "gold seller" store, but they won't be getting the beads. I need to travel a little way to f ind a shop-in-shop to get them, but I am willing to go. I called the store listed on the Pandora website and they are going to email me when their shipment of wooden beads come in.
I purchased the breast cancer bead/bracelet today and also got the peace sign. Im a bit annoyed with the store that I got it from. The SA told me that they dont come with the Pandora box (despite the fact that it was displayed in the box) and I could have a box if I paid for one. They had a spend $200 and get a lipgloss, so I asked if I could have a box instead. No deal. Im just upset as I never got a box with my bracelet in the first place. Im putting the peace sign on the leather bracelet, but it doesn't have any threading so it slips right off

Pandora makes a "lipgloss"? That's kindof funny. I was in Europe and asked for a box at a sore after buying a charm or two and they gave it to me. It so depends on the SA. I agree with others around here that some SA must HATE the Pandora line because it takes customers forever to decide on what to buy. It is much easier to sell a ring or necklace from another line where you don't have a choice of hundreds of beads. JMO
BTW your bracelets look good. I do like that peace sign.
Hi, Ive been on tpf for some time now but only just found this sub forum dedicated to another of my favorite things, Pandora. I work for a gift store that is also a Gold level Pandora seller. I have been collecting Pandora for about 2 years. Here are my bracelets. I have additional murano and holiday specific beads that I swap out on the silver bracelet. The 2 tone bracelet stays this way and has special meaning to me. Its so great to find so many women out there who share my love of Pandora. Its so cool working at a Pandora retailer. All the different bracelets and all the stories behind them. Really great. Nice to meet all of you.

I purchased the breast cancer bracelet and they asked if I wanted to wear it now and I just asked if they could put it in a box for me, which they did and have a couple of times. I have been into this store half a dozen times and hubby has about the same, they all say hello when I go in. I also got the pink suede 3 tier pandora box for free, I just asked if they have them in the store and he went out the back and gave me one. I will definately shop at this store from now on. Just keep asking for a box, they might get sick of you asking and give you one.lol
