I received my Australian Breast Cancer awareness bracelet today and am quite pleased. It is very pretty, especially when layered with my pink themed Pandora silver bracelet. Thanks to Nelly for the import/export. I love the leather and am looking forward to purchasing more of the leather bracelets when they are released in Canada.

I have been Pandora shopping where the sales associate just doesn't realize what kind of customer she is dealing with! :shame: LOL I am not trying to sound snobbish, but we, here on this forum, know a lot about Pandora and probably more than most sales people that sell Pandora...

I asked a clerk today when we could expect the new beads...she's didn't even know that there were new beads on the horizon. I also asked about the yellow "cat eye" bead with 3 oval CZs and she told me that it was completely discontinued. Not so! The store just didn't have any in stock.

I sometimes even find myself answering other customers' questions as I shop. I don't mean to butt in, but when they are getting false information or no answer at all, I have a hard time keeping to myself. We share so much wonderful information here, that I feel like I should spread the wealth and pay it forward! :D

Here is my Pandora-Shopping Pet Peeve: Does it bother anyone else when people suggest beads to you that you already have on? For example, today, when I was browsing, the woman behind the counter asked if I had ever seen the two-tone beads...I was wearing a full bracelet of two-tone beads that she was cleaning in the Pandora tumbler... When she asked, I just kind of chuckled and pointed out that she was cleaning my two-tone bracelet. She also just looked at my Pandora list on her computer because I was making an exchange (of a two-tone bead) that wasn't fitting in on my mom's bracelet. Maybe I am just being bratty...

I apologize if this has been asked before, but do you think the beads on auction from ebay seller roodmozaki are fake?

I'm not sure if these are fake or not, but this seller has lots of negative feedback! Some people saying the beads aren't authentic, some saying they tried to put the beads on and broke their bracelets in the process, and some saying the person sold an item they didn't actually have. The feedback also says they have very poor communication. One thing I noticed is that they are using other people's photos from different auctions - not what I consider a good sign. It's impossible to tell if something is authentic or not if they don't use their own pictures! I guess it's buy at your own risk, but IMO I'd probably stay away.

Wow what a difference it makes when the sales assistants actually know about Pandora.

Opposite my work is a Jewellery store that sells Pandora. I've been in there twice before and both times the sales assistant has been very unhelpful and really uninterested in what I'm buying. I went in there the second time to buy over $200 worth of beads but ended up leaving with only a $56 bead (that I needed for a gift) because I was mad.

There is a Pandora store about 15 mins from me but it's hard to get to and with work I rarely make it before they close. I've been buying online most of the time now.

But today I desperately wanted a bead for myself for sentimental reasons. I wanted it today so I had to go to the shop opposite work. As soon as I walked in the sales assistant (who I hadn't seen before) has so happy, friendly and enthusiastic about Pandora. She was wearinbg two of her own bracelets. I asked for the bead I wanted and she was so nice we got talking about the new beads and she let me have a look at them all. Hold them, try them on my bracelet etc... I ended up buying my bead, ordering the Breast Cancer bracelet from her plus 2 other beads as christmas gifts for family members.

I'll definitely be going back there now and hoping she's there next time.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but the Pandora Jewelry Page on Facebook says: "Pandora Jewelry is happy that the Fall/Winter collection is now launched in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK"!!

Yey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

I almost always feel uncomfortable buying from a store. I get weird looks and sales assistants are either disinterested or rude to me. There are a few exceptions of course. On the other end of the scale, one sales guy even remembered me and what I bought when I went back to the store a week later. :blushing: I try to buy online now, since it also means I won't be making impulse purchases. If there's a sales person waiting for me to decide, I always feel pressured into hurrying up.

tashiewashie79: Thanks for posting that! Now that they officially have the pictures of the new beads up on Pandora Jewelry's website, they have the prices posted, too. Turns out the new beads are not yet available on the bracelet builder, though. I guess we'll have to wait to try out the new beads in some virtual bracelets.

Anyone ever buy OHM beads? http://ohmbeads.com/ How's the quality? Do they all fit a standard Pandora bracelet?
ohmbeads are actually great quality. I work for an authorized dealer so I'm a little bit biased. They are sturdy and weighty like Pandora and at a much better price. Looking at their website it appears they haven't updated with their latest designs. We sell them all at http://www.europeanbling.com [including the brand new designs]

ohmbeads really does pride itself on quality and isn't just a knockoff. The threads match all styles - and no the threading is not trademarked by Pandora.

/cheers/

The jewelry store that cleans my bracelets doesn't charge for the Pandora tumbler either. They usually offer when they notice you already have a bracelet...I asked this time because mine was looking like it needed it. It usually takes a while to get it thoroughly cleaned. The sales associates take a quick picture, unthread all the beads, wash every part in the tumbler, and then put it back together again (using the picture). You can request that they just put the whole bracelet in, without undoing the beads, if you don't have a half and hour to spend there.

My freshly washed bracelet looks incredible. I only get a thorough cleaning once every 6 months or so...usually just when they start looking dull-ish. I use a polishing cloth and the tarnish-resistant box, but when the bracelets are full, you can't really get to the chain without taking it all apart. That takes me a lot longer than 30 minutes, so I make the drive to the jeweler.
