Yay!! Heading to Pandora store tomorrow when I meet up with my mom...she's totally new to it all and I'm gonna 'introduce' her properly while buying a few more charms :D. I bought 6 in the past 2 weeks so one would think I need to slow down right??? lol

I know some of your ladies have Chamilia beads, I was wondering if the quality of them is as nice as Pandora and Troll? I was just noticing they have Disney charms and I can not get the idea of starting a Winnie the Pooh Chamilia bracelet out of my head.

YES! I have many charms from Chamillia and I feel they are just as nice as Pandora. In fact those are the only 2 that I have on my bracelet. I would not hesitate to buy more Chamillia.

I think I'm probably up there with you too - I have nearly finished my bracelet that I bought mid August. I worked out that there's probably only about 7 spots left. Its such a hard decision choosing the charms as I love so many of them and want them all on the bracelet but obviously, they aren't going to fit. I think I'm going to slow down now for a while and look at buying another bracelet after Christmas (if I can wait!) I want to start a silver/pink one as I love all the pink muranos and CZ beads!

I have a two-tone triangle bead and a two-tone initial from Chamilia. In my opinion, the quality is good, but the some of the designs are a little too gimicky or trendy for me, like the ipod bead, for instance... The Disney beads are very cute. I especially like the Eeyone with the gold tail! A Winnie-the-Pooh bracelet sounds very cute.

I love the eeyore charm, but was dithering because I've not seen one IRL, and wondered about the quality. Thank you for the reassurance! :smile1:

Does anyone have a gold Chamilia bracelet? They are significantly cheaper than Pandora's (at $60). But, they are described as "gold verimli." what does this mean exactly? Worth it?
Hi, I don't think Chamilia sells gold bracelets other than 14k gold ones. I have a catalog and they only list sterling and 14k gold bracelets, not the plated ones. So if it is a gold one for $60 I don't think it would be authentic Chamilia.

Hi All,

I agree that Chamilia doesn't appear to have a 14kt vermeil bracelet...though it's a bit hard to tell from their website:

http://www.chamilia.com/us/jewelry/bracelets

I do own several Chamilia beads and they hold up very well and their quality is comparable to Pandora and Trollbeads. Now, you do find folks who stylistically/personal taste aren't drawn to Chamilia (and that's fine). I have heard some Sales Assistants from Pandora speak negatively of their competitors (specifically Chamilia and Troll) and suggest that they aren't sterling silver, made well etc. That's misinformation as all 3 companies make good quality products etc. Again, a person may be more drawn to one style or another.

Thanks for the replies, ladies.
I had been comparing Troll, Chamilia, and Ohmbeads last night, and mistakenly remembered my information. The bracelet in question was from Ohmbeads, this makes much more sense.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction and advising me away from virimli!

I went into a couple of Pandora shops and got the new booklet today, both said about 2 weeks for the new beads.
Had to leave a deposit for the breast cancer bracelet, and then he tried to tell me it was "one size fits all", after he called someone on the phone he came to to proudly tell me that they came in 3 sizes, I pointed out that I did know that, which is why I wanted to order a specific size

I don't think some sales associates know what to do with us, the Pandora-educated! I am glad that you got the size you wanted for the breast cancer bracelet and I am thrilled to know that the new beads are on their way to the stores!

I bought my first bracelet at The Earring Gallery, and many beads..lol.. I think they got sick of me in there lol. :amuse:
They have a good selection though. I think it's a gold store..so they have most of the jewelry (if not all) as well. Sometimes they don't have a good amount of stock in. To be honest, I stopped going in there because a couple of the girls are a little too snobby for my liking, well that and I started buying on ebay and saving some $$. However, currently I'm on a "no-buy Pandora until November" lol..I have to start saving money.
Just in case your "no-buy till Nov." is theoretical (smile) the new Pandora store's official opening is Sept. 24. They are offering a free bracelet from Sept 24 to 28. They were unpacking many, many boxes last I visited... dare we hope the new beads releases are in there ??
