I went shopping today with my birthday money and I looked for some beads to use with my Nan's money and I didn't really love the cupcake or the teapot when I saw them so made a couple of other choices.

I was going to go with a white 14k mystic murano but then decided I would just go a silver one but went with the yellow/orange flowers murano and it looks quite nice as a feature bead. I also chose the 2 tone & CZ flower bead (next to the Murano). Here's a picture of my bracelet at the moment. I also have a 2-tone clutch purse coming in the mail and I think my sister bought me the little boy (to represent my son) for my birthday.

My Mum also bought me the safety chain - although its a bit akward at the moment.

I did have a Champagne CZ Oval lights bead on there but it didn't really fit in with the look I want to achieve - it was too orange and I thought it would have been a lighter colour when I bought it, so have listed it on ebay tonight.

I'm having fun picking out the beads and trying to decide which one will be next????

Nelly4 your bracelet is beautiful! Well done.

I have decided to fill up the centre section 1st on my bracelet I only need 1 bead and poss 1 spacer to do that, then i will start filling up either side.

I think the bracelets on this and the pics thread are far far nicer than any of the samples on sellers websites, I dont know why they just look more individual!

Remember that if you only fill one section, it will be heavy and unless the bracelet is tight, the beads will always be underneath your wrist. Pandora is specifically designed to fill the sections evenly, that way there will always be beads all the way around your wrist, not just hanging underneath.

I dont have a bracelet yet - only discovered them a week or so back, but have a whole wack of stuff coming from ebay. We don't really have many specialist stores here in South Africa - or even ones selling genuine Pandoras, but a few sell the stuff from China.

I am very into my crystals and am working a ways to use them on bracelets and necklaces - anyone with any ideas, please pass them on - I mean small tumbled stones without fittings or holes - so I am thinking of wore-wrapping...

I love all the ones on here- wonderful how each is unique, even those using the same beads.

Thanks for the welcome! :smile1: I can't wait to finish my bracelet.... I only have 1 section full so far. I was hoping to fill another section after the show at our Pandora store, but my step mom really wants a bracelet for her birthday so I think I will drain my bank account on her instead :D

I agree, what a great link. I also noted there was a Pandora forum link and even though I can't understand whatever language it is, there were come pictures of people's Pandora's.

I didn't realize there were pictures there! I clicked on the forum and also couldn't understand a thing, lol, so I clicked out of it right away. It's always nice to see more creations!

OH NO!!
This is going to blow my theory of making multiple bracelets in various color themes and only filling the middle section
:sos:

Hi everyone, I'm new here and have been reading the posts for a little while. I recently got into the pandora craze after a store in our local mall began carrying them and now the obsession has started! I know there has been a link to the new fall charms posted, but here is another one that has some of the pictures & you can click on the charms for a closer view.

Welcome grrlstar. I checked out the link to the website and it's great, thanks, there are a few beads I'd like. I'm loving the peace symbol and the zodiac ones look great too. Also the link to how the beads are made was fantastic, I didnt realise how much work goes into each bead.

I didn't realise the work into each bead either - I guess that's what adds to the price of each piece.

I have a bracelet that only has the middle section filled,. That is one that I am keeping that way so I just got the next smaller length of bracelet! It still fits my wrist but the bracelet doesn't move around my wrist so freely. It actually stays exactly where I want it. The bracelet isn't tight by any means. It is actually my regular bracelet size. Just a thought!

I went to the link and clicked on Pandora-Parties. This is some of the description on the page (English spelling errors are theirs):

In the Netherlands, Pandora Parties are organised at peoples homes, same way as in de 70-s the Tupperware parties were organised. However, Tupperware is much to useful, so we prefer Pandora-parties nowadays!!! A brilliant marketing idea!

The lady of the house is the hostess and she invites one of the Pandora-shops to come over, and bring the goodies! Of course, she also invites all her friends that have become
Pandora-addicts because of her....

The shops that are currently co-hosting these parties are:
SakoShop, Pam's Collection, Alexander and de Prijsgigant.
Now tell me, is there anything more fun than to indulge yourself
with an addition to your Pandora-Jewelry collection,
when amongst kindred spirits?

I thought it was sort of funny equating Pandora jewelry to Tupperware parties, but it would be so much fun.

Thanks for the link.
