So many decisions Pandora Addict - I'm not sure all the beads I want will fit on the bracelet but to start with:
  • 2 more white Murano's (I think?)
  • 1 more Champagne CZ oval lights bead (this is such a pretty colour)
  • S/S & 14ct clutch purse
  • A Queen Bee (my 2 year old has always loved bees) or the little boy
  • S/S & 14ct round bead with CZ flowers on it
  • S/S & 14ct Letter M (for my fiance Matt) have been together 15 years
  • I Love You box bead (I have hinted that I'd like him to get it for my birthday ;))
See, I just love so many of them and the list can go on.....(Just looking through the bead booklet and forgot about dangle beads, the Perfume bottle bead and some of the silver beads):D

My Mum has told me not to buy any more until after my birthday! I know she is getting me the 2-tone safety chain so that will be nice.

Thoughts on the safety chain... is it necessary? My Pandora will not slip over my wrist and the lock is very tight. But I'd hate to lose it after all the charms are on. My bracelet is SS and the silver chains look dorky to me. What are your thoughts? Which ones do you own?

Hi, I don't use one b/c I am not crazy about the chain hanging down. However, I do put a clip on the end of the bracelet to prevent any beads from sliding off. Since the clip can't go over the threads, no beads could slide off the end of the bracelet if the clasp happened to come undone. (I have seen many people on here recommend the safety chains, though, so this is just my personal preference).

I think my next purchase will be a safety chain, I would be devastated if I lost my bracelet.

I think I have asked this question before regarding the safety chains, what size does everyone have, I was thinking the 5 or 6 cm, I don't want it too long and getting caught on things.

Anyone ever buy OHM beads? http://ohmbeads.com/ How's the quality? Do they all fit a standard Pandora bracelet?

I have not seen OHM beads before. Looking at their website, they have some unusual and interesting designs (even a "Punk" category!).

From their selection of chains, it appears that they are copying both Trollbeads and Pandora.... and since Pandora's threaded chain design is patented, they could be taken to court (I think I read that Pandora has already sued Biagi and Chamilla for patent infringement).

A funny thing I have noticed is that in the US the ONLY choices for the safety chain are 5 or 6 cm. I wonder why...?

Here's one version of my Pandora necklace that I have been wanting to share with you all. The colors aren't quite true in the picture -- I need to work on a setup with better lighting for taking macro pictures.

The pendant is amethyst and sterling silver. I have had it in my jewelry box for years and not worn it -- until now. I like that it has a bold and chunky look that works well with the Pandora beads.

I think the necklace looks great with a small number of beads, say 5 to 9, including spacers. Pandora should market the necklaces more, and make larger pendants that coordinate with the beads. I think they are really missing an opportunity here.

By the way, my husband really likes the glass murano beads. He said the other day that I should have more of them. I replied, "You are welcome to buy them for me at any time." hehehe ;)

I have two of the the 7cm gold safety chains (I had to order it in but they do make it). One on my bracelet and one on my necklace. The reason I got that length was as it was the same price I thought I may as well have more gold for the $! :graucho:

They don't get caught on anything. I have lots of "dangles" on my bracelet and haven't had any trouble.

Izzy's mum - I think you deserve an Angel for your weight loss bracelet as you have obviously been one to lose the weight. Well done! A lovely idea to reward yourself for your efforts.

I'd get a safety chain. Just think about how much your bracelets are worth and how upset you'd be if you lost it.

My updated bracelet is attached. Still can't decide what I should do with my bracelet.

Any advice on if I should keep it all silver with a little gold or add some muranos?
