Personally I like the all silver touch of gold look you are achieving with this bracelet. I would add the four leaf clover silver/gold charm. Or is it too similar to Tree of Life? You can always go with a few more clear stone silver charms. Murano adds color and are more affordable so you can fill up your bracelet faster. Sorry if I'm not much help.

Here's one version of my Pandora necklace that I have been wanting to share with you all. The colors aren't quite true in the picture -- I need to work on a setup with better lighting for taking macro pictures.

The pendant is amethyst and sterling silver. I have had it in my jewelry box for years and not worn it -- until now. I like that it has a bold and chunky look that works well with the Pandora beads.

I think the necklace looks great with a small number of beads, say 5 to 9, including spacers. Pandora should market the necklaces more, and make larger pendants that coordinate with the beads. I think they are really missing an opportunity here.

By the way, my husband really likes the glass murano beads. He said the other day that I should have more of them. I replied, "You are welcome to buy them for me at any time." hehehe ;)

This is beautiful! I haven't even finished my first bracelet and now you have me wanting to start a necklace.

Haven't posted for a long time because due to lack of £££s haven't had any pandora news although I have been admiring all of your work regularly!!

HOWEVER, today I have big news (for me)! I have won :yahoo:a Nemo from Ebay. Nemo has huge sentimental value for us as a family. :yahoo:

AND THEN my husband has surprised me, like never before, with a trip to the Pandora store.:amazed::amazed: It has been the end of a long summer holiday with my husband having swine flu, lack of money due to the credit crunch (he's an estate agent) and then on Sunday my little boy had an accident which saw him in hospital. I have had no time to myself and my sisiter was going to take me shopping and out for the night tonight with a night away at her house. BUT on the way home from Harry being discharged from the hospital my car broke down meaning I couldn't go out. DH picked me up from the garage and on the way hope took me to the shop and told me to choose two charms, one because he wanted to treat me and the second because I always seem to miss out on time to myself. I choose the dangle flower and black MOP hearts. I am over the moon because as well as the charms he thought about me!!

Thank you for allowing me to off load but I know I am gushing to people that will understand!!!!!

Oooh Lorna how sweet & thoughtful of him.I hope that from the moment you picked those 2 special beads out only good things start happening! It seems you are due:)

Hope your son is doing well,& wishing your husband a full recovery.

Lorna that was such a beautiful thing for your husband to do - now you can remember those charms for the generosity and caring he has given you at a difficult time in your lives.

BTW, What is a Nemo that you won on ebay? Is that a Pandora charm? Sorry, I'm new to all this Pandora stuff.

I'd get a safety chain. Just think about how much your bracelets are worth and how upset you'd be if you lost it.

My updated bracelet is attached. Still can't decide what I should do with my bracelet.

Any advice on if I should keep it all silver with a little gold or add some muranos?

I love it all silver....Your bracelet is gooorgeous!! Maybe add some muranos too but even if you didn't, it's beautiful as you did it.

I started a thread yesterday, but I'm going to add myself to this thread as I'm so stoked over my new addiction!! I started my bracelet yesterday and put 5 charms on it already....the suitcase (that happens to have my initials on it!!) with a palmtree to represent my honeymoon in 8 days, the monkey for my son (he's been obsessed since he was 8 months old--he's 6 years now), the pink flower for my daughter, the heart with diamond (cz) for me and my husband and the purse for me! I really want the ghost, jack-o-lantern, cupcake, and a few of the sparkly spacers and some muranos....trust me, this thing will be filled in no time! --at hubbys dismay im sure :graucho:-- here is my new bracelet.........

So, I've been reading all of your posts and looking at all of your beautiful creations. Honestly, I was afraid to start this collection - I have too many vices as it is!

I've been alone all this week, DH and my son are in Oregon, even the dog has gone away, so I've had all of this extra time to shop.

On my way up 5th Ave, I wandered over to the diamond district and happened to find the Pandora booth... I stopped to look, then I played, then I started picking out beads... 2 hours later... I have an almost complete bracelet! I say almost, because I wanted a cupcake and they were out, I have to find one somewhere... Anyway, I hope you like it...

Which one of the safety chains did you buy? Your bracelet looks a lot like mine - pink and silver is a lovely combination. I bet those two hours just flew by.

I'm working on my first bracelet and I have a couple of handicaps. One - I live in Canada and all charms are more expensive and then we also add a 12%Tax on the total. Two - my husband is a watchdog over our money and he can't get over how much this little hobby is costing me.

My question is: Could someone list the reliable, authentic sellers on ebay? I know there is kendalldew and I have bought from The-Bead-Bucket and the charm seemed authentic. Many sellers including the two mentioned above will not sell to Canada. I have friends who will purchase and send the items to me, but I hate to be a bother. There are other sellers who do send to Canada, but I have such a hard time telling if they are reliable or not. Sometimes even ratings don't help. Is there a list on this site that shows reliable, honest Authentic Pandora sellers on ebay? I've also looked through 200 pages of the archived thread and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Any help you can offer on this matter would be helpful.

Thanks

^^ Thanks, I could have stood there for hours!!

I may go back tomorrow...maybe not! I didn't start off thinking pink, though it is my favorite color.... if I wanted to, I could buy 4 black/grey glass beads replace the pink ones and totally change the look.

The safety chain is hearts...
