I really hope I made a mistake and that wasn't in US currency or something! I ordered a few as well for my breast cancer bracelet.. I believe I got them for $50 each. Even the SS going from 25 to 30 kills us because that increases tax too. We'll wind up paying $10 more than we would have a month ago! Ugh!!

Afternoon all, hope you're having a good weekend. I am still having trouble with my rubber lined silver stoppers that I bought on ebay and getting them on my leather bracelet. Tried hairdryer to warm them up and using bobby pins, but in the end hubby just used brute force (which now means the end is slightly bent). Now they are on there I'm not sure they'll ever come off! We have tried a lot, but now geeting worried that we'll pull the silver bit away from the leather.

I'm a bit grumpy because I love how plain they are, ideal for just either end of the beads I want to draw attention to.

If anyone has any cunning ideas about what else I can use on my leather bracelets to hold beads in place I'd be very grateful!

So, I think I figured out who buys all of Kendalldew's beads and flips them. Seller's name is "Mamsgrammy". She literally dominates Kendalldew's feedback, and I JUST bought a bead from her not knowing this. She buys and then flips the beads. She has about 100 feedbacks in a row from Kendalldew and all from the same dates, meaning she somehow must override the immediate payment feature in order to mass-purchase. I'm MAD! I want to cancel the order, as I feel ripped off! I can see flipping a few beads, but to buy the ENTIRE stock and resell them all is just plain wrong! :mad:

Not sure if this will work but can you use cuticle scissors or something else small and cut away a tiny part of the rubber?

lol..copper..i know exactly how u feel..i bought one silver one like marias and some plain black rubber ones off ebay. the silver one is impossible to get on, i really hurt my nails and gave up then used the black rubber ones on my grey double bracelet.

i went to pandora in oxford circus in ondon today and asked them about the price rise. they said they have'nt heard anything and there'll b no imminent price rise?..not sure wats going on...:(

LipGlossQueen and Miss Kris: Thanks for the information on authentic Pandora bead variations. I guess I won't accuse the seller of sending a fake, but I am still disappointed that it doesn't match my other Cluster beads.

I bought a second bead, the Wide Stripe, from the same seller at the same time. That one matches another Wide Stripe that I have from an authorized retailer in every detail that I can see. Funny that one bead is exact and the other is different. Oh, well.

About the price increase: I asked my local jeweler to look up the prices of a few items for me, as she had an updated price list from Pandora. It looks like some of the gold items are going up in price considerably. The silver bracelet with gold clasp, #59702-HG, is going from $230 to $280. The gold safety chain, #75312-05, is going from $235 to $300. Yikes!

Hi xgianna6921x, the only picture I've seen so far is a teaser bracelet picture from a Pandora email. If you look closely, there are 5 beads not currently available. There are 3 muranos, 1 blue with a stripe, and 2 white. There are also 2 silver beads with gemstones, one blue and one purple, on opposite sides of the bracelet.

I think we'll have to wait awhile for better pictures of the individual beads.

I agree with you, Miss Kris. I'd be mad, too!

The bit that puzzles me, though, is how does she buy Kendalldew's beads in bulk? How does she know when Kendalldew is listing, and how can she override the immediate payment feature? :confused1:

Yeah, I wish I'd tried that before I got them both off the bracelet. Could see myself trying to do that now they are on the bracelet and accidentally snipping right through the leather bracelet, lol

May try if I get desperate to have the bead that I put in the middle of two of these stoppers though as it's not coming off anytime soon!

lol, I know how you feel, broke both thumb nails and hurt the flesh underneath the nails! The bead that is now on my leather bracelet sandwiched between these 2 silver stoppers is there for the forseeable future. Thank you for the tip, may try some of the black bands, was just concerned about how noticeable they are as my bracelets aren't black. Worth a try for the price though, as otherwise I guess it's Chamilia locks, but the ones I like I can't seem to find in the UK - typical!

I would be cross too as it does feel unfair, although I'm getting used to stuff like this on ebay. I wonder how she does it, must use a programme

Hmm...I can't find the new silver beads with gemstones...the only new one I've spotted are the murano glass ones
