Thanks sooo much iheartpandora you are too kind!!! :D
The square bead is a RUBIX CUBE [anyone remember those???] It is a Truth charm. I love their range. I also love, love, love my wooden bead, hope you can find some soon. x x x

Thanks for the compliments ladies! :hugs:
I've got my purple baby on today and its driving me slightly nuts with all the beads sliding around, cant wait to get the two rubber lined stoppers i've ordered for it. I'm layering it with my brown leather and i just adore them!

givemegold...my next creation will be my lariat now that most of my purple beads from that are on my leather. Using_Daddys_$$ gave me a great idea of having a two tone cz bead as my centre with two gold spacers either side, so i kind of have something roughly planned (to include clear oval lights, of course!!), so tomorrow i'm going to go to my Pandora store and play with some beads, see how it looks, then Sunday is post birthday shopping with my boyfriend, YAY!! :yahoo: So by then hopefully i'll know exactly what i want!

AND...i've found a Pandora travel jewellery box on eBay. I want it. I have to have it. It will be mine. Whatever the cost!

Glad to hear you got your daisy spacers, Ilvbeadsalot :D

Did you check to see if these sites will ship internationally? I bought mine from always-forever.com:

http://www.always-forever.com/store/products.php?Addl_Info=Pandora+Jewelry+Box

http://www.elisailana.com/content/p...7&site_id=4&color=&pricerange=0&item_id=11169

Thanks for the info Miss Kris :smile1: Sadly always-forever dont ship internationally and with elisailana, the cost of shipping is more than the cost of the box! Nevermind, i've still had fun looking thru the sites :graucho:
The jewellery box i found on eBay is just newly listed, and its a 10 day auction...i cant possibly wait that long, lol! So i've emailled the seller, told her i had every intention of winning her auction, but i cant wait that long, so would she consider ending the auction early for a buy it now...i appealed to her, told her to think about all my poor homeless beads and bracelets, and that all they've ever wanted in life is a pretty suede box to call home.
I think she's ignoring me. She may think i'm nuts!!

Hello Fellow Pandora Addicts

I haven't posted here in awhile, but I have been keeping up on Pandora news and, of course, buying beads for my bracelets.

To reply to a few items discussed in the last few pages:
Denmark-Beads "Bead Buzz" page discusses the recently retired beads, a new numbering system for the US, and the upcoming Spring beads.

I've also heard that the "Spring" release this year won't be until May or June. Doesn't that seem a bit late? I thought in past years the Spring beads came out in April. Does anyone remember when the Spring beads came out last year?

Ilvbeadsalot: I also have the flower spacer that you liked so much. I need to take a picture of my bracelet soon to share with you all. By the way, the bead is called "Aloha" on the US Pandora website.

Now I have a question for all of you. I know the Murano beads can vary somewhat in size and shape because they are hand-made of molten glass. What about the sterling silver beads? Have any of you seen authentic Pandora silver beads that varied in size? I ask because I bought a bead recently on ebay (Cluster, #79117). I have two others of this same bead that were purchased at an authorized Pandora retailer. The ebay bead is slightly smaller than the other two and also weighs a little less. (I asked my jeweler to weigh them for me when I was there yesterday, as I'm sure their scale is way more accurate than mine.) The ebay bead has authentic-looking hallmarks (925 ALE). What do you think? Could it be authentic?

By the way, did anyone else see this?

Huge Pandora and Pandora Compatible Lot

It is a huge lot of Pandora and other beads that was auctioned on ebay. "Huge" meaning about 160 beads! Plus several bracelets, a purple Pandora jewelry box, etc.

The auction ended earlier today. I thought about bidding, but the price went way above what I was willing to pay. Can you guess how high it went??? US $1,680.25

I sure hope the buyer is happy! :smile1:

ClioD,

I have never noticed before if the silver beads are the same size. I am working tomorrow and I will check some silver beads to see if its consistent. I will tell you that the glass beads can be very very different. The pink heart murano that I have is pale pink hearts on a Clear background. The other beads we have in stock have a milky ish pink background. If I didn't work with these beads all the time, I wouldn't think its the same bead. I will let you know tomorrow after work. Its very possible that the molds wear aftera time and when a new one is made, its slightly different. You may have a newer version and the seller had an older version.

Yes, I have seen silver beads vary in size.. but not by a huge amount. It depends on when they were made and in which batch. There are also several beads with different variations (Penguin, Perfume, etc). The penguin was made smaller than it originally was. I'm not sure about the cluster having different variations, but it is definitely possible.

I would say that this is actually a steal IF they were all Pandora products. I don't like that the seller doesn't know what brands they are, doesn't know what materials the bracelets are, etc. AND no returns! So this sets up for a big scam. There may only be 20 Pandora beads and the rest are crap. I wouldn't spend $1600 unless I saw each of those beads and checked the condition since he says that they are used

EDIT: Ok, it looks like there are roughly 70 Pandoras, so maybe this was a steal. Hopefully they aren't damaged though, being that they are listed as used
