I have been reading the posts for some time. My bracelet is almost finished. I have the hardest time trying to make decisions on what beads to add. Most of my beads are Pandora, a few are Chamillia and a few mystery beads. I did find the retired Kanj love bead for a great price. Any suggestions on what beads you would add would be welcome.

I knew I was in trouble with the jewerly store called me to tell me about the Pandora special they were having

Hopefully I upload correctly!

So pretty! I like the way the blue Muranos coordinate with the blue daisy beads.

I have both anchor and heart 2 tone dangles bought from a jewellers and they have no white on them at all. I have bought 3 beads from EBAY, all about 25% cheaper than listed prices, all were fake. One of them was very good but I resent paying anything to rip-off merchants. I don't trust anyone who can sell Pandora cheap as I know how tight the company control their product and pricing.

Hello Fans, I am just going through 3 (THREE!) claims from Ebay sellers here in the UK for Pandora charms/beads that have arrived and are copies/fakes. One of the sellers immediately refunded my Paypal without any other involvement, the other two are being resolved as I type. The one lady is refunding but the other is dragging her heels about it all. The latter even had the nerve to enclose a really, nasty cheap 'bead' in with her parcel as a 'gift' for me being so quick to pay!! It was yuk yuk YUKKY! When I told her thanks but no thanks for the gesture she was really offended and aggressive in her email LOL. These 'beads' are listed in their hundreds on Ebay UK for 99p each. So no more Ebay buys for me regardless how 'genuine' everything may look. I have made contact with a genuine seller who lives local to me so I can order from her and pick it up in person and still pay Ebay prices! There is also another site that is quite good Unforgettable Moments in Ripon. They have got some fantastic half price beads and charms, the service is great, very fast, with free postage and you get your beads in a little Pandora pouch to boot.

Are you allowed to give an indication of which sellers you had problems with? I'm new and haven't read through all the rules on posting. I have three bids in for Pandora items right now and I would hate to go through the nightmare you have had to...I'm so sorry about that!

What led you to believe yours are fakes???

The lady was VERY deffensive and appeared quite insulted- was it a frount??? She sent me 3 emails to respond- the middle one saying she was offended and would NOT refund- was very rude, the 3rd said she'd calmed down and if after i had taken to a jeweller to compare she refund if i still wasn't happy. What do i do though it's so obviously FAKE I think anyway???? I don't want to post it back and end up $91 down and no bead- not that i really want to wear the Fake.
She has still not answered email about how she has sooo many gifts unwanted.

I have one silver nut-shaped spacer that has the 925 ALE marking in white, and the core is white too, but I bought that from an authorised dealer, not online. Can't be a fake, can it? It has no oxidation at all, and I suppose that's why the markings are white. But now I feel the need to compare it to one from another dealer.

Pandoraholic, I hope you can compare it to one from an authorised dealer. That might work. You'll know for sure then.

I have two dangle charms that also have the 925 ALE in white. I checked with the seller where I got them (who is reputable and who I have bought from many times) and she told me that the color of the 925 ALE marking depends on the bead design. I think mine are authentic b/c I have never had a problem with this seller, she sells the entire line, and I think it would be very difficult for a seller to counterfeit the entire line and get away with selling it for years. Although some have had problems with ebay and that really stinks, there are some reputable sellers. I think the reason they can sell them cheaper than retailers is b/c of the huge markup on jewelry. If they are a retailer, but also sell beads on the side on ebay, without telling Pandora, they can still make quite a nice profit b/c the retail markup is so high. Just my humble opinion.

Silver is very white when clean and newly cast. The darkening/contrast is a result of oxidation and can indicate that the piece is older, not newly made. I would not worry about this as actual Pandora fakes are few and far between. What we do see are items that are Pandora-like in style, fabrication but not actual line-per-line counterfeits. When in doubt, post the bead here -- the link if it is on ebay -- and some of us who have been collecting for years can weigh in before you make a purchase!

Hi, ladies. Been busy moving, so I haven't been on in a bit. I have a question. Does anyone else change their beads frequently on their bracelets? Or do you mostly keep what's on there steady. Seems from reading on here the latter is true. I change mine almost every day, since I've gone overboard and have lots of extras that don't fit on my two bracelets. I change the colors sometimes or just the beads (I hate not wearing some for extended periods)

Thanks for the advice, ladies. I think I'm just paranoid after hearing about Pandoraholic's experience. :s I was even considering buying on eBay, but I think I might just go retail for now. There's this lovely authorised dealer selling on their online jewellery store (this is where I got my bracelet), and they offer free Pandora gifts with each purchase. The gifts are polishing cloths, tote bags, pens, and Pandora jewellery boxes too. However, you would have to spend over AU$700 at one time to get the Pandora jewellery box!

I don't change my beads everyday, but I like to rearrange what I already have. I keep telling myself that I will leave them alone, but I keep tweaking a few of them! My black and yellow one is the only one that is escaping the re-arrange.

hi guys! sorry that some of u are having trouble with the sellers on ebay. I have to agree with you that i have bought a ton on ebay from reputable sellers and have not had a problem yet so far(knock on wood). ! usually will buy from only a handful of sellers i bookmark. The mark up on pandora is a high 150+%. I seen the pandora invoice(accidently left on the counter at my local jewelry store) and it made me sick to my stomach!!!!:sick::sick::throwup:

I agree, i have not seen a good fake yet... the fakes that are on ebay are hideous looking and are so obviously fake.
