Pandora bracelets... continued!!!

I just started my first Pandora bracelet. It's silver with 14K clasp. It will have blue theme. So far I have 4 blue silver Murano glass beads with mix of silver with 14K and 14 K solid beads. I really like the look of blue mixed with silver and 14K. I just got golden Queen Bee and 2 spacers with blue sapphires for our wedding anniversary. All of my upcoming beads will be 14k gold with blue stones and diamonds. I also have 2 solid 14K separators with dots, like on the picture above.

Okay u think i'd have learnt my lesson after jewels2000 saga months back. Well I've just got another fake and I paid $91 for it. It is the high heel in 2 tone dangle- !st reason I realised was that the ale and 925 are white not like any of my others bought in store. Then i realise it's much much lighter and the inside is all white so are the grooves on the actual bead- I'm sooo upset I've asked for a refund and told her I believe it's FAKE.

What do I do now??? I never got a refund or anything last time cause i'd already left positive feedback.

Pandoraholic, who did you buy the bead from? I have the two tone heart dangle and the two tone anchor dangle, and they both have 925 ALE in white also.

I don't know what you mean by "all white" but it may be as simple as there is no tarnish creating the patina of the dark on silver. PM me if you want to chat more in detail as I have a ton of Pandora that I can compare to for you!

Thanks Guys- It's just super white which i've never had with any of the others and feels quite a lot lighter. The seller swears it's genuine and was a gift- not wanted and she'd taken it back to jewellers for a refund but they would only give a credit note.
I've looked at her feedback (all positive) and she appears to have sold a fair few beads on ebay- certainly all the recent ones were listed as unwanted gifts- brand new- seems a bit strange to me. But she swears it's real.
Is yours really white in the core too??? I don't think i've ever noticed that before- but maybe it's just oxidised over time. I'm sure i've never seen it with my new ones either though and all bar 2 purchases have been from actual shops.

Pandoraholic - I totally understand how you're feeling. I examined my kendalldew beads like crazy and though I couldn't find a thing wrong with them I still distrust anything coming from ebay. I got burned really bad with a purse several years ago. Hope this gets resolved for you and if necessary you get your money back.

After reading Pandoraholic's post, I was worried that maybe mine were fake too (two tone heart and two tone anchor). However, I bought them from a reputable ebay seller who I have bought many things from in the past and never had a problem. The grooves on my two tone dangles are white as well and the 925 ALE is white instead of dark. Have you seen them looking this way?

I didn't have time to dismantle my bracelet to check but I believe that the inside of the core was white as well. I bought my two tone dangles from the bead bucket and I have bought many things from her in the past and they were all genuine, so I suspect that the two tone dangles may just look a little different. Thanx- I've said in the past i wasn't going to risk ebay again and did- I feel seller may be fibbing hasn't responded when i mention she has ALOT of gifts unwanted- whats her real story i wonder??? After all how hard can it be- they fake everything else.

It's so frustrating. I guess it's hard to tell for sure. The thing that puzzles me is that the seller I bought my two tone dangles from has almost 800 things listed now, and has feedback of almost 8,000 and I didn't see any complaints about beads being fake. Seems unlikely that if someone was selling fake beads they would get away with it for that long. But I really don't know. I hope you hear back from your seller. If the person you bought from sells a good number of beads, they may be telling you they are unwanted gifts so as to avoid getting in trouble with Pandora, b/c they are not authorized to sell at a discount. Just a thought...

Me too!!! I stumbled across this forum searching for pictures of Pandora necklaces (which will be my next purchase). My husband surprised me with the SS bracelet and baby elephant charm last Friday and I was torn between happy, giddiness for my new bracelet and awe that he surprised me for no reason .

I've been considering trying to find an authentic Pandora necklace on eBay, but now you have me a little leery. There's a seller who's NOT a Pandora dealer, selling 50 of them. She swears they are authentic, but I don't see how she can be able to do that.

I'm going to read through the 5000 post thread now...I can't believe how quickly I became obsessed with Pandora! I find myself on the computer constantly looking at pictures and articles about the line

Hello Fans, I am just going through 3 (THREE!) claims from Ebay sellers here in the UK for Pandora charms/beads that have arrived and are copies/fakes. One of the sellers immediately refunded my Paypal without any other involvement, the other two are being resolved as I type. The one lady is refunding but the other is dragging her heels about it all. The latter even had the nerve to enclose a really, nasty cheap 'bead' in with her parcel as a 'gift' for me being so quick to pay!! It was yuk yuk YUKKY! When I told her thanks but no thanks for the gesture she was really offended and aggressive in her email LOL. These 'beads' are listed in their hundreds on Ebay UK for 99p each. So no more Ebay buys for me regardless how 'genuine' everything may look. I have made contact with a genuine seller who lives local to me so I can order from her and pick it up in person and still pay Ebay prices! There is also another site that is quite good Unforgettable Moments in Ripon. They have got some fantastic half price beads and charms, the service is great, very fast, with free postage and you get your beads in a little Pandora pouch to boot.
