I am new to the forum, and just started my bracelet! I was able to finally pick up some items from kendalldew after waiting an entire month!!!

Yeah for you! I scored some new beads too! First time in months I was actually able to get something before they were all scooped up. I got "good luck" and "best friends" scrolls, currents, making waves, and florets beads.

Wow I didn't know the HCA hat bead was sort after? My friend has one and she never wears it and was talking about selling it at a swapmeet for $30AU. Should she put it on ebay? How much should she ask?

I reckon she should take a look at the others on eBay, see how much they're going for, how much interest there is in them. She could always do a Buy it Now or best offer thing, so people can put in their offers?

Hi Ladies,

I only have one Pandora dealer in my town, they are a 'silver' level dealer and as such they don't carry all the beads. Even the ones they do are in short supply. When I first purchased my bracelet last month, I chose a handful of beads and special ordered four other beads. I didn't realize that dealers are at the mercy of Pandora regarding backorders, but I fear I may never see them after another dealer told me that Pandora can't keep up with demand. Arrgh.

I am looking at authorized online dealers to purchase from. I've found several and it's quite fun using the online 'build a bracelet' feature. This is a nice way to audition beads because you can see how they will look with other beads. Not quite as nice as actually handling them at a jewelry store, but I guess it's the next best thing.

The PROBLEM I've encountered is this: When I build a bracelet online, I first put the beads I already have on the bracelet. This is when I discovered that the scale of individual beads is very inaccurate. For instance, my Murano beads are larger than my enamel beads in real life, but the reverse is shown online. So again, the scale of the beads is off which makes it impossible to get an accurate design.

I'm wondering if anyone can refer me to an online dealer with an accurate built-a-bracelet system?

I see what you mean...i've just been on pandora-beads.com and pandora-jewelry.com and it is weird how the muranos are the same size as the other beads when IRL they're much bigger. Not very accurate



In the past i've found both my local stockists (a gold retailer and a concept store) don't mind me going in and trying some beads on and playing around with them...maybe cause they know i'll spend a fortune!! They basically want the sale, so if you ask to play around with some beads (at least, the ones they have in stock), see what looks good, as long as they're not busy they're not going to mind. It ensures your repeat custom too.
But that's pretty useless if they don't even have in the beads you want to see...
