I think the clips are a lovely addition to the bracelet and keep the beads from sliding from section to section. I also have two clips that I use on either end of the bracket, just before the clasp. They keep the beads from going up the threads and give the bracelet a nice finished look. I'll post a pic.

^ hi mdmc.. not sure what you mean but using risingsun's bracelet as example...

the clips in the middle threads will not move whereas if the bracelet isn't full, the clips at the end of the bracelet will move ... and you can still add a safety chain after the clips at the end of the thread.

hope that's answers your question :)

Pretty bracelet, risingsun! I really wanted the gold clasp but just couldn't justify the cost difference on what I was getting, maybe I will rethink that on my next one! LOL.
Lucky...I agree, that was my feeling. I just didn't find clips that I was really excited about, but my reason for getting the bracelet in the first place was not for the "design beads" but more for the charm beads. I have always loved charm bracelets and thought they were a bit "klunky" so I never wear one. Now I can have my cute little fish and chickens and ghosts and what not:upsidedown: I actually am looking at some other options for clips than Pandora, and think I may try one. As long as it covers the middle threading and stays put, it serves its purpose. Then I can stick with them for the "charms/beads" but find clips that I like better. I agreee about the safety, too, although the heart one is pretty cute, so I may go ahead and cave on that one.

The clips on the ends of the bracelet can move, but, because they don't have to be turned around the threads, they don't get caught on them. If you like a clip, you can use it anywhere as you would a bead.

btw... bekstar1.. where in aus are you? i am in perth and i know 2 retailers who have a loyalty program that gives some 'discount' on pandora. if you are in WA i can give u directions or store addresses

Im in Sydney, so 5 minutes from the QVB store (Its AMAZING!!) but unfortunatly no rewards programs that I have come across this way!!

^ i've been to QVB... i LOVE it there. i think i must've taken every curve and corner of that building! hehe..

good luck on searching for reward programs. usually the smaller retailers have it.

For anybody who lives in the Tampa Bay area in Florida, I just received a note from Bond Jewelers and they're having a Pandora Party on the 18th of October from 10a to 8p. I was told that there's a pandora bracelet giveaway, but I'm not sure if that's per customer or just 1 for the lucky lady. I'm gonna find out more and post when I do. I'm taking one of my friends there since I'm starting her pandora for her :P and I'll probably buy one for each of us :P I'm working on getting her addicted and I bet this would work!

For those interested, it's the Bond Jewelers in the Tyrone area.

Lucky, Bond usually does the free lobster or $15 bead clasp with a $100 purchase at the trunk show.

Thanks, Snowqueen! Bonds are the only ones I've heard having a trunk show in my area. $100 isn't too bad since I was figuring I'd spend that much when I go anyways. :graucho: I see all the pretty beads and I just want them all  and that would actually get me to stop going to the store every week....(I'll just wait until the 18th to get something instead of every week I get something to add to my collection...)

Does anyone have any ideas where I could possibly hit up other trunk shows in the Tampa bay area or how I could find them? Thanks for the help ladies! ;)
