Hi thanks everyone! I had been saying that I will post pictures for so long now, and never did it... I was worried people might start to think I was making it up...lol

The cupcake I got from an Aussie store online, there's a link on the page before this one, not sure if they mail overseas, but thy may not due to Pandora's policies.

It might be pretty to do one bracelet that's almost all glass beads with minimal silver spacers... really chunky and colorful.

I'm glad I made your day! I think the Pandora store listing was recently updated.

So, we talked about safety chains before and I just noticed... in all the pics I see, the bracelets that have chains have the traditional "bead" clasp (sorry, IDK the name). But mine has the lobster clasp...

Would that be really awkward to have the chain going across a lobster clasp? :s

Isn't the safety chain used incase the bead clasp pops open? IDK... I think your lobster claw clasp won't come un-done... it's much safer.... If it's just for looks I bet it would still look cute - I think the chain is pretty long so it won't get in the way :) but that's just my opinion.

No the chain will be OK, my friend has one of each type of bracelet and both have chains and both look great.
I think it is less likely that a lobster claw will come undone, but by the time you have spent several hundred on a bracelet - why take the risk?
Even the old fashioned 'traditional' charm bracelets often had safety chains on them, so it is not only to protect this newer type bead clasp.

Oh and I just found another Aussie on line site that has the whole range in stock and for sale - yay! off to do some damage to the CC...lol

I actually don't like dangly things, so I didn't want a chain. It's just that this thread got me paranoid about not having a chain LOL!

I ordered a really plain Biagi one just to see how I like it.. If it works then I'll order the 2-tone one with the hearts from Pandora. I just didn't want to plunk down $100+ on something I'd hate kwim?

Oh Pjaye I love your bracelets. I only have the one bracelet at the moment but to have so many and to have them so nicely set up. I am more than a little bit jealous. :drool: One day .. . one day I will have such pretty shineys too.

I really love the blue one, and I wouldn't have thought that until I saw how nice yours looks. I was going to do my first one in shades of amber to go with all the amber jewellery I own, but I have turquoise jewellery too and I might just change my mind now.

I went to a store today that sells pandora beads and when I got there - there was major chaos going on - I guess they had some kind of Trollbead trunk show going.... I was bad - I cheated on Pandora and started a Troll bracelet - the glass beads were just too beautiful and if you bought 5 beads you got a free bracelet - so I had to do it : )))) The Pandora selection was quite minimal since I guess they had a trunk show for that a few weeks earlier and the stock has not been replenished yet!!! So - I still have not gotten to see many of the new fall beads bc they didn't have so many left : ( Finally, I have a great store with great sales people to buy my stuff at!!!! So happy about that!!!!

Is it weird to collect both???? I thought it would be nice and give me some more variety.... I still love my Pandora but now I love this one too : ))))))

Hi everyone. New to the jewelry board. I have 2 Pandora bracelets. I started the first about 4 years ago. It is two tone and more on the casual side. Just need a few more to finish it. The second I got about a year ago and is more dressy with stones in it. I love them both and buy beads when I can afford them. I mostly have Pandora beads but also have some Chimillia. I think the quality of the Chimillia is equal to the Pandora. Some one commented that a retailer told them the Chimilia beads would break the Pandora chain. Not true. I think they were wanting her to stay with Pandora. Pandora retailers are not allowed to carry Chimillia. Any way love seeing everyone's bracelets. :woohoo: They are beautiful.

^ ITA. I have both and the quality is equal. They're also the same size.. I mean, not ALL the beads are the same size-- they vary by shape-- but they're all more or less the same.

Also, I've heard some not-so-great things about Biagi, but my safety chain is good quality. It looks just as nice as the Chamilia and Pandora stuff on my bracelet :shrugs:

Where do you buy the Baigi? I have never seen it in person only on e-bay. I never bought one because on my computer the quality just does not look the same as Pandora or Chamillia.

^ I ordered it from Heirloom Charms. They only carry Chamilia, Biagi and their own silver charms. Based on the quality of the safety chain I'd buy a Biagi charm if I saw one I really liked :yes:

Heirloom was awesome too.. really good sellers! :tup:

I just bought one yesterday. There are so many cute beads, but I only bought one, so I owuld have something on it...LOL. They told me I need the locks/clips whatever they are called, but I didn't want to drop that much money at once. Also, is it just me, or does anyone else think they need more styles where these are concerned? I think they are really boring compared to everything else, yet everyone needs 2 of them on their bracelet to prevent the threading from sticking. I think it is pretty lousy that Pandora will not stand behind their warantee if you don't have the clips. I consider it an annoying ploy to make me drop more than 100 bucks on some clips I don't even really like. Lame.:thinkin:On the other hand-I love so many of the beads that I look forward to getting a really neat bracelet built over time!
