It happens this time every year, a bag I can't get past.. now it's the x-large PS1 in Orchid color :girlsigh: it's huge though and I'm not sure how much I would carry it.. I'll try to resist a few more months :angel:

My fiance bought me a Large PS1 in Black last December (like a Holiday/sorry gift because he did something really awful and he knew I was going to buy the bag for myself and he beat me to it - whew) while he was in Chicago. It's really shiny in certain lighting conditions. I've seen Saddle and Smoke and it's not that shiny at all. Is it just me or is it normal? He bought it in Barneys Chicago btw. Thanks!

Get it! Your smoke and midnight need a new friend!! Spring is coming! What a great color! I think the xL is great for carry on traveling :p

Also! I have ordered the Midnight M!!! yay!!! I'm SOOO excited. Although I didn't pay extra for shipping so it won't be here for another week (I'm dying inside). Thank you everyone who gave me inputs!! Will show pix soon!!

PS: My Bal glycine city is here and I LOVE it. I think I need to stop shopping:D

I've tried on the black at Barneys and it wasn't that shiny. I think the colored ones like violet and orchid tend to look a little more shiny. Although I am no expert so I would seek 2nd opinion

I just ordered medium orchid from ****** yesterday. So excited for her to arrive! I couldn't get the color out of my head. It's my first PS1 so originally I thought I should get a neutral colored bag. I love smoke and midnight. But I thought, well, if I like this as much as I think I will, neutrals will be around in the future! I debated so long on medium vs. large, but think the medium is a great size for such a large pop of color like orchid. Thank you to everyone on the PS forum for their input and lovely pictures--really helped my decision!

I just received my medium orchid from ****** too! I am so love with the color and can't wait to use it...and I'm not a color person to begin with!
You made the right choice in getting the medium.
I have the smoke in the large size and it's great for toting baby stuff, iPad, etc. So if you decide to get a large I would go with a more neutral color. The medium ones are great when you want a pop of color!!

^ ^ ^ Photos, please! Orchid looks like such a fun color. I agree with you, brights are a great option for the Medium PS1 or maybe another more unusual style. For an everyday workhorse bag, I'd probably stick to the basics...

My 2010 black has a slight sheen to it, but I wouldn't really call it shiny. This was also taken under bright indoor potlights, so the sheen is exaggerated a bit.

Here you go! I took pics of my large smoke, burgundy pouch and medium orchid. Just loving the pop of color right now. Can't wait to get my real wallet and neon yellow zip case to add to the collection!
