I noticed something unique abut my 3rd hand PS1 XL. It smells like leather! I'm stressing the fact that itt's 3rd hand because sometimes old leather items lose their smell.
I have bought many new Chanels and they don't have that leather smell, although I do like it on my PS1. I wonder if Chanel thinks it isn't elegant or sophisticated and purposely somehow tries to remove it.
Any opinions?

It's sometimes hard to find older colors, but.. it seems Sien has a medium PS1 in orchid available http://www.sien-antwerp.com/shop/products/1088-ps1-medium-orchid.html

I just received the bag from NM and at first glance its gorgeous and seems well made. I think its going to work for me. I was a bit worried after reading here in the Proenza Schouler forum about leather fading problems, but I gather that's primarily been an issue with the PS1's, which are a different type of leather from the PS11's, correct?
Congrats, that's great you like it so far! Yes I've only heard about issues with PS1:s, I think the PS11 is calf or similar leather while the PS1 is often lamb.
