That i did not think of but it makes total sense ....I will post more often here then.

I have more and i think its cool to show how smart she is using all the small details in the new Celine that most people don´t take notice ...or maybe i´m just a Nerd in these stuff.

its because of you i join here as i never joined any type of forum or site before...

I used to read allot on Fashionspot but now its becoming so hostile and less interesting comments or research.

At Purseforum Celine is never like that.

I see you do allot (to educate :-)and i feel the new generation (god i sound old now) don´t take time to know where things come from to kind of know where we are going etc.
Everything is fast fast ...buy and trow away ...new etc .

To be informed is the best thing you can do on all levels in life :-)and to share it even better.

OMG Phoebe is indeed a genius. I already fell in love with Céline years ago but this beyond amazing. I really love to see more SANDER and Cotonblanc! Your knowledge about the brand is something to be jealous of.

MARINE HUGONNIER ART WORK (Homage to Ellsworth Kelly)

Art for Modern Architecture (2004–ongoing) investigates the role of the image, its abilities and its limitations and reverses the process by obstructing the press images on the front page of a week’s worth of newspapers (the series include The New York Times, The Times, Die Tageszeitung, Le Monde, The Herald Tribune, The Neue Zürcher Zeitung and Al Ayaam) with collages made of cutouts from ELLSWORTH KELLY’s book Line Form Color.

Thanks all well come...I think not since Prada 90´s early 2000 did a designer looked back in a fashion history to make such a modern wearable relevant statement´s in fashion.
Helmut Lang and Margiela where around that time also but they where informed by the technical possibility of the common clothes and Lang pushed it further with this new way of doing and looking at urban city life.

Could it be a new kind of retro that Phoebe is doing with these last collections ,dissecting the near past to a more streamlined abstract idea ?

I loved the new fall and winter so much that i lost interest in summer as its arriving in stores i thought to have a look at it again to understand it better knowing there must be more too it.

CELINE - hot stamp history

I was thinking how Celine under Phoebe started the refocus for other brands on the use of a brands name as a logo in a discreet way on the out side namely embossed or as hot stamp.

Embossing or hot stamping a product is a verry simple but yet its verry connected to luxury goods industry....... Its like money its made out of paper but yet it hold so much value and associations for us humans.

For most brands hot stamp the made in ....is normally under the logo name but its great how at Celine they kept it apart from the logo name.

Vintage Celine would have it embossed on the left but under Phoebe leadership the made it all in hot stamp and moved the MADE IN ITALY on the right

Of course the Hermes like horse in logo is gone witch makes sense for a clean rebranding and the horse logo is to much of a Hermes thing for any brand to use in fashion in their logo.
