I still don't understand why that tab is there now?? I wind why they decided to leave it on the bag bc it serves no purpose!

This is an interesting picture of a vintage Céline Luggage shared by a Céline SA and it pretty much explained how Phoebe adapted something from the heritage into a modern piece that it is today.

I'm loving it. I love how she retained the curvy sides and all! And talk about a much needed "face-lift"!

I could use a weekend bag like that 'old' luggage...thanks for sharing this image, cotonblanc! So interesting to see the origins of those curves and details.

LMAO!!! I was just playing with the back tab on my mini thinking "uh... The one on the side is for the zipper and so? Does the zipper hide here too somehow? Thank you purse-nality, you're a gem!

WOW - I can see how this totally makes sense, given that historically designers have referenced past iconic items in creating new products, bringing back certain features that become the "face" or trademark of the brand. Thanks for sharing this info!
