If people wants to take medication forever, it is up to them imo.
Sunny and Whoopie on the view just admitted to taking Moumjaro to lose weight too.

Whatever helps to get someone to a place of better physical and mental health, it’s their choice. I agree. Their body, their choice.

Oprah has struggled with her weight for her entire adult life, much of that time she has done so very publicly. I’m glad she found something that works for her and that she’s been transparent about it.

Hopefully those who go the medication route are taking extra care to watch for side effects and prioritize their long-term health. Hopefully Oprah’s program will touch on those things since some of the side effects can be serious.

I thought sunny was looking thinner

Can you stay on it forever and what happens if you don't?

Does your appetite come roaring back the way O's did when she went off that liquid diet she boasted about?

Just wondering about side effects for the long term, although I suppose no one knows.

Hard to say. Sharon Osbourne has been having a tough time after using it. As with any Rx medication, side effects could be mild to nonexistent or be absolutely life-ruining. So I suppose it’s a gamble many feel is worth taking and hopefully people will report symptoms to their doctor as they arise.

Yes, people loved it at the time before it was yanked off the market.
Yes, I took it and its side effects are still here.
In addition, I was not that overweight to start with. 20Lbs. But my well meaning mother did not want me to suffer the indignity of not fitting in a size 38.
Yes! And Ayds! Oprah probably tried both.
In her case, at 70 she does not have much to lose. Even if there are side effects, the upside is she has a much better quality of life for whatever life span left.
However, for younger users, it could be much more damaging.
Plus, if you stop the weight comes back. So patients will have to take the drugs indefinitely.
The cost also is prohibitive, it can run up to 1000 a month with insurance.

Yes, she had gained 40 lbs during the pandemic.
Although, she had a breast reduction and tummy tuck as well.
The timing of this push from celebrities feels artificial and orchestrated. I hope I am wrong though.

Can you elaborate on that at all?
I would not be surprised that celebrities are being compensated for their efforts promoting those diet pills.
Even Charles Brinkley is promoting mounjaro.
And this push just happened when production goals have been made….
Plus big push for insurance to reimburse those products???
