DearGod, the feet! :throwup::rant:. It is 45min surgery and only 7 weeks down time. Since she does not exercise, 7 weeks will be a breeze.

Oprah does not charter, she owns her jet.

Charter is like renting a car. You pay for the time you use it. Most Charter companies have "charter cards". It's like a debit card, that you put a minimum on (usually $100K) and everytime you book a trip, the money is deducted from your card. You reload the card every time you want to use the plane.

There is also Fractional owbership. This is basically like a time share. You pay a fee every year and you use the plane for a certain amount of time/hours per year.

Exactly. Very few celebs own a jet (cost to much to pay fuel, storage, and staff). Most charter or borrow from the studios they are doing a movie with. Some also have it put into their contract that the studios provide a private jet when the celeb needs to do promo work.

Also, very few celebs are able to charter from USA to Overseas. Most will fly commercially to a certain point in overseas and then fly around private once they get to point A.

Fascinating. The only people I knew that owned a Jet were John Travolta and Oprah.... but they can also make money when other people charter their jet, correct? Wait, doesn't Soulja Boy own a jet too?

In his dreams he does. http://www.tmz.com/2011/07/30/soulj...false-not-true-lie-exaggerated-birthday-gift/. Jay Z is the highest paid rapper and he doesn't even own; he charters with Netjets.

Tom Cruise also owns a jet. I don't believe they charter their jets out. Yacht owners do that, never heard private jet owners doing that. Most use XO Jets, Marquis Jet, Net Jets, Apollo Jets and a few others out there.

I can feel the pain just looking at those bunions. Gads she needs to fix them.......her toe is going 45 degrees there. Why do so many women celebs have jacked up feet?? Bunions are hereditary so don't say heels. ;)

It is hereditary, but like i said, it is a 45min surgery (out patient)
