What a horrible story/experience, XiaoXiao Absolutely appalling! I would never have given them so much leeway, because obviously they've abused your trust. You have every right to be livid.

If you have a lawyer, I think it's time to call and enlist his/her help. Sometimes a written communiqué on legal letterhead can work wonders, and, in this case, may help hasten the return of your bag to you.

Its really not good enough of the consignment store, they should be keeping you up to date. l really hope you will get some answers today.
They have put you in a rather helpless position, by not being able to tell you exactly where your bag is.

I'm sending you good vibes today also.....call/go by/whatever it takes to find out about your hb....I'm usually a very calm person but this just doesn't sound right. My DH always tells me that I'm too trustworthy, and that's really how I want to live my life, but this entire situation feels deceitful. Hopefully it's just a misunderstanding that the owner can straighten out to make you feel secure with your bag. GL!!!!
