I wonder how they will sustain the brand based on such few models only. I would have appreciated bringing back some of the discontinued models for the time being to ensure some variety. I would certainly be interested in buying as I still adore Moynat, but have enough Gabrielles and Rejanes to last me a lifetime and the existing colour choices do not appeal to me. I recently purchased a Gaby in Celadon which I was happy they brought back, but unfortunately had to return due to quality concerns.

What was the issue with the Gaby?

I talked to my SA recently, asking for new styles and it appears that nothing new is in the pipeline.

I would love to get excited for something NEW.

Moynat executives if you read this thread, I would love to see more accessories like scarves, hats, ponchos, belts or blankets. No one asked for a yoga mat holder! 🤪

I love your comment "no one asked for a yoga mat holder". Whoever approved that clear is not in touch with any market at this time. lol. Personally I think their monogram would make an awesome 3 ring agenda. Certainly a better item to offer than a yoga mat holder.

The glazing was done sloppily and parts had transferred to the leather. Parts of the glazing in the back were starting to crack. The bag came with dirt inside and fingerprints on the hardware (clearly a floor model). One row of feet was lopsided. Overall, one of the worst Moynats I have ever handled. My feedback to the SM went unnoticed…

Just wow. So sorry you had that experience.

Before this current "management" crew took over that would have been unthinkable.

I was more sorry about the fact that my feedback yet again was ignored. Especially as a longstanding customer of the house. I haven’t had issues until this particular bag arrived to be honest and I ordered quite a few over the past 3 years, but it certainly made me reconsider purchasing until a new creative director is in place.

Oh no! That’s awful! I hope quality improves, they had amazing quality before.

I asked Moynat. If it’s a canvas tote, it’d be nearly impossible to remove. I did not ask about a leather tote, I but can if needbe.

Yes. Painted on personalizations can’t be removed completely and without compromising the coated canvas and the monogram design.

I would LOVE a wallet with a working M clasp like the Gabrielle or gabby - I know they have wallets with the M clasp, but it doesn't swivel, which I found disappointing. I am also hoping they provide some different canvas options in 2024.

A manager asked a Moynat painter and the painter said , “No.” The size of the monogram is standard, so a modification/cover-up can’t be made.

That seems arbitrary. They do custom painting (perhaps on a different area, but still) so I don't see why the artist couldn't just paint over an existing image with something new, unless it's not a technical limitation but a random "rule."
