Did you use a gift card? Both items in my online order got cancelled because a small portion was not covered by the gift card and they said they could not split the payment of anything shipped from the store. I ended up reordering the one item I really wanted (tote) and using Paypal. It came today and I've never seen a box in such bad shape. I literally only had to rip it (by hand) a few inches to get it open. Luckily the bag is in great shape, but no dust bag (not sure if one should come with it) and no price tag on it, even though it has a special "Rexy" tag. I'm happy with the tote, but their service sure sucks lately. I'm sorry about your shirt.

i have snoopy and minnie watches from coach,both also have no lines. minnie also has gloves as hands i/o needle like hand.
no problem at all in seeing the time, even at a glance. but then i dont need to be extremely precise with time (i.e. 7.37 and 7.38 has no difference is still ok for me.). the watch shows well the oclock times.

I have NEVER had some of these awful packaging issues you and other members point out, but I also ship everything to my local store since I work, quite literally, at the edge of the parking lot their mall is in.

I personally love it. The crossgrain has a bit of shine which I like. The interior is almost like a really thin suede (sorry, I am not an expert on materials, but it's definitely leather, just very soft.) . Because of those materials - which I realize others may not like - I feel free to use it without babying it, which makes it perfect for hauling items to/from work. Or even using as a shopper bag. The lack of a pocket doesn't bother me since I have so many pouches/wristlets that I can secure to the straps and have hang inside if I need it.
I'm really sorry about your shirt - that is so odd. Really, it feels like we have to force Coach to take our money sometimes!

Just got the shipment confirmation for my re-ordered shirt. Since it's coming from a store, it won't be here 'til next Thursday, which is an agonizingly-long wait! (I'm in Tampa, so things tend to only take a couple days to get to me.)

So Coach is now venturing into $1000+ bags. Does this make them a premier or just a high priced contemporary brand?
They have had $1000+ on several rogues for awhile now. My python tea rose from over 2 years ago was $1500, and black python 1st generation $1200. The 1st generation ostrich was pricey as well but don't remember exact price. I definitely still consider them contemporary though. It would take several years of no extreme discounting of large amounts of stock for me to consider them premier, which I don't ever see happening.
I would add, I think that the ONLY reason those bags are as much as they are is because of the exotic materials used and/or the extreme embellishments in the case of the tea rose/crystal tea rose pieces.
ITA. They had their chance with the 1941 collection but opted to increase their outlet presence instead. We're on our third "generation" of rogues now; each decreasing in quality and construction. First gen had the lock, thick glovetanned leather and substantial hardware; second generation lost the lock along with thinner glovetanned leather; newer rogues are without the key fob! Madness I tell you.
I don't think that will necessarily work. After all, Burberry, YSL, Givenchy, etc still have outlets. I think they need to keep up with quality and make fewer of their bags so they stop sending their $1000 bags to outlet!!
