I found a red eurgo(?) leather Coach bag. It has a few faint, but noticeable light blue ink marks on the exterior. How should I get them off without further damaging this otherwise stunning purse?

We have a rehab club that might help. Pictures will help, but I'll warn you that it is hard to get ink off without also removing some of the dye on the bag. Most of the time, it looks worse.
