Am I overly cynical or is there a legitimate reason why an honest seller would list this and an honest buyer would purchase?

Can anyone give a legit reason for this?

ETA: If an identical bag in the same color and style is so trashed that it would need a new creed and zipper pulls, wouldn't that be like putting lipstick on a pig?

If someone has that bag and it needs a new creed, I can't imagine how the rest of the bag must look?
I agree but laughed at "putting lipstick on a pig".

Well, I have to say it-- "Life's so much better in a Rogue!" There, I said it. I had been using a black Ruby Satchel for almost a year, and kept finding that I had to squeeze things into it that the bag just did not want to accomodate-- like a checkbook, and a small hair brush, and my sunglass holder and a bit of paperwork. Then, just yesterday, I went to my closet and selected my dark denim Rogue (regular sized), and I am in love with the Rogue all over again. It is the perfect size and shape for me. I am beside myself with happiness that I no longer have to think about adding a thing or two to my day bag. What a relief it is for me to be back in a Rogue!

Maybe the zipper pull and the hangtag but creed patch? What could anyone use it as? Maybe upcycle it?

Yeah it's annoying. They are trying to feed off of who feel desperate to get it because this color sold out.
These bags are nice but they don't have suede like the original 1941 bags. I'm reluctant to pay even their full price for bags because they have microfiber lining.
